Can't believe that everyone is so excited. Yes Blizzard finally manages to change the size of the chat window - wow.

Still more important features which would give you a great "social" experience like:
- online tournaments,
- shared replay watching,
- clan support,
- channel moderation,
- personal information,
etc.

will not be implemented. Sigh....
I said good day, sir! Axe-actly!

Major features like these will probably not be introduced in WOL . Probably in the next 2 expansions. That way we HAVE to buy their games to get those features. lame , but i totally understand why they do this.

How many of the points here will they actually address?
It's all about the journey, not the outcome.

Where is the "patch preview"? It doesn't say 1 single thing the patch will change about gameplay, which is honestly the only thing people care about. I know I didn't buy the game to "go to find people in all the chat channels!" and "have a more social experience". Jesus.

Some people are never satisfied.

I personally really appreciate the initiative Blizzard is taking. It shows that they are in fact willing to listen to the community, accept their mistakes and work to resolve them, even whilst knowing that the majority of us would probably still buy HOTS to feed our StarCraft addiction. And while these few changes here might not be much, if it's any indication of their current attitude towards the game I expect there will be more to come in the not too distant future, most probably with HOTS.

All I want is to be able to watch a replay with friends like I could 10+ years ago in sc1.

At least, in the arcade mode description, replays are mentioned

One of the most significant additions will be the all new Arcade feature which includes improved custom game visibility, ratings, reviews, game instructions

I know its reviews, but in my language translation, its "replays".
I think there's a possibility of shared replays, and not so remote from what i know.

Hoping for ClanSupport before hots, its simply want something you cant have, and you know very well.
But the ArcadeMode its not only a fix, its a huge change in the UI, from this pic i can see it clearly
[image loading]

So it can contain a enourmous quantity of features, and atm we dont know precisely what.
I think we have to wait more before complain.

I'm hungry
Here's a piece of stale wonder bread.
I'm still hungry
WHY ARE YOU NOT SATISFIED I GAVE YOU SOMETHING

I'll take chat channels being saved if that's all their giving. I don't have to praise blizzard for it, though.

Are you really expecting them to include all those features in a single patch? Do you know how much work it takes to include these features and make them functional and bug-free?

The interview clearly states that all these things are in preparation for HOTS, which is a much better time for Blizzard to include more major changes to the UI as it will be fully beta tested. Try to get some perspective on how Blizzard does these things and for gods sake, think before you post.

these are all features that should have been there from the beginning.
Surely they cant implement all of this at once, but they should have been working on this nonstop since 2010. It's 2012 and these are to come - we have a PTR and a few weeks before all this basic functionality arrives. And that is just sad.

blizzard proudly announce that you can resize a window ...soon.

No one expect something good and no one expect them to do it in time.
So even an announcement of a minimum correction in the right direction looks like a big success.
This shows how far blizzard has fallen.

The new guys ( LOL maker) show that even a small company can easy outclass the old slow big guys (blizz) on quality. I dont think blizz learned his lesson yet. I think they only start to learn it when they bring out a game one day and no one buys it because its 5 years behind the time and direction. But on this day its to late tho....

Why do they keep assuming what "The players want" - Just like with the EAPM vs APM

The whole players just want to find "the best map" makes no sense.

In WC3 you'd be able to see every map created, but you could tell if one map was really popular by the among of time it popped up. For instance DOTA you'd see it almost be like every 3th or 4th game available would be DOTA and then you'd check it out. You don't need to force some ranking of maps upon us.

No idea how this new system is going to work but I'm really excited about any change - the old system is completely broken and really ruins the costum game experience.

I really hoped this was going to add team support too or watching replays together. I don't care too much about connecting to play with my neighbor and resizing my chatwindow, but I guess I'm going to see what it really is - usually everything Blizzard does is going to be awesome

The people have forgotten the fact that there will be, hopefully... two more expansions. These two expansions will add features to the game and UI, hopefully... it would be just stupid to add everything at once as for company's perspective. What if the WoL would be the only standing game and there still would be 2 more incoming sequels and people doesn't buy it since they feel like the balance is stable and the UI and features are fine. That would've been the best case scenario for the community but the fact that Blizzard already announced their 3 StarcraftII games 1 Main game, which obviously is WoL and 2x expansions which will add units AND STUFF.

Tbh I see the company gone way too greedy after Activision bought it.
