Instead of thinking up new ways to solve the custom maps problem, that will probably fail anyways, why haven't they reverted to battlenet 1's system that worked? I'm interested in local IP. Seems interesting. though I'm excited for this patch. | ||

As I understand it, no. I think it only means that you'll have an new option when searching for a game to tell battle.net to match you to people near you. So this seems to be only a new metric to match player, but I don't think it involves any change to the way the network code works. Basically, this is to make the game more "social" by making you play people in your region. | ||
