As long as the map files you release don't have any dependencies that aren't on Battle.net, that should be fine. You're right, there is no way to upload them all at once, but since I'm just going through it with a friend I can take them down as we play through them and upload the ones we haven't played yet.

If you want them when I'm done, though, I'd be happy to send them over. The modifications are surprisingly minor (mind you, I'v e only been able to test them playing as both players up to now) but I think they'll add some replayability, especially to certain levels.

The one thing will be cranking up the difficulty on levels like Episode 1, Mission 3 where you can have one player micro each bridge, but you guys have handled that so well so far I think that'll be easy to adjust. My favorite, so far (I've only gotten through Episode 1) is Mission 4, where I set one player to be the locked up Zerg and gave them a cloaked Observer and a hidden Nydus Network (eventually, I'd like to make "air vents" Zerglings can use to slip through walls) but the players on that map don't share vision or even an alliance, so if they get too close to each other, their forces will attack, but the Zerg can scout ahead early in the level and if the Raynor opens up their lab and deactivates the automated defenses, the Zerg player can rip through the base security, clearing a path for them. I can't wait to see if it's possible to have Raynor go through as a shooter with the Zerg player playing traditionally.

Also, it's been almost 2 months now since the last update on the first page It would be nice if you added something like: "The Mass Recall 2.0 is almost completed and we should be able to provide a release date in the near future, so hang tight."

Fair enough.

Version 2.0 is almost done, we have left a bunch of tedious copy-pasting for the end and are now working on that. This is the final stretch of the long work that began a year ago, and we should be able to give a release date Very Soon™ Once the HotS update is released, the Mass Recall mod will be published as an extension mod on Battle.net. This will allow people to play with our Brood War tech tree and units on melee maps.

Jones has put considerable effort into re-writing triggers so that the majority of the them are now in the mod. This will simplify editing and make the maps easier to understand for anyone interested in the technical aspects of our work, or who might want to adapt other Brood War maps on their own. I also intend to write a guide explaining the various tricks I learned during the projet, in case future mapmakers might find it useful.

We do not expect to make an other major update before Legacy of the Void or to work on other Brood War maps, but we will of course keep a watchful eye on the maps and correct the bugs as they appear.

You bet! I discovered multiplayer on Warcraft 3 and kept playing the occasionnal BNet game until Starcraft 2 came out. I have a big crush on the Reign of Chaos storyline, easily the best I've seen in a video game (Brood War would be second). I still replay some campaigns as you would watch an old movie again.
I also played World of Warcraft from 2005 to 2009. I was called "the archivist" or "loremaster" by people on the French story forum, because I had English Warcraft roleplaying books and used them to answer their lore-related questions. Good times =)

Oh, that's awesome!

The main reason why I've asked you about Warcraft 3 is that I've been doing a custom campaign for it. I know, it's an old game, but I absolutely love it and I wanted to create my own story (that would play out in a classic type of campaign) Would you be interested in trying out one of my maps? I'd love to hear your opinion on it since you're a map maker yourself

Hello, I did the Zerg and the Terran SC campaign and I was amazed with the maps, they were really challenging on harder and I loved every part of it !

I was wondering, I can't play the Protoss "the fall" campaign on SC HOTS 2 current version ; is it a known problem and will it be available soon ?

Current version of "The Fall" campaign probably won't get any fixes until the guys decide to release the Mass Recall 2.0 HotS Edition that will include the improved versions of all the campaigns In other words, if the current version doesn't work, you'll most likely have to wait for the big update that's fortunately very close

Apparently someone has been quitely working on the second part of the Enslavers campaign, using the Mass Recall mod.

This was not done by us and I only gave it a superficial look because, y'know, we have an update to publish. But if someone is willing to give it a shot, I'm curious to know what it turns out to be.

I got the urge to play through all the SC campaigns, but I checked here and saw that an update was coming, so I'm waiting for that.

What are the chances of the update being released before Reaper of Souls is released? I wont have much free time after that.

So, I tried to work on a 2-player co-op version of WoL while I await Mass Recall 2.0 but no matter what I do, I can't seem to make Cows or Dogs playable (or even selectable for that matter) and can't get the Civilians to use their Molotov Cocktails in combat. Has anyone run into similar issues or know what might be going on there? I wanted to allow the second player to scout ahead as the dog and then get rebels as the level goes on.
