I don't have an answer for you, I'm afraid. Unless Chris decides to do a quick update, it'll take quite a while. We don't plan on releasing any updates any time soon. We're going for a pretty major update, covering everything from the mod to the launcher to all six campaigns. We've made some good progress, and the update is going to make the current version look pretty terrible (no details until much closer to release). We're taking it pretty slow at the moment however - we've got other things going on.
I'd rather not give any estimates, I'll just say that hopefully we get it done this year.

No worries brother, just knowing that you might be done this year (emphasis on the might) and that the update is going to be miles better makes me feel great :D

I forget if you already answered this, but do any of you fine people have plans for Enslavers II? There's already a rendition of the first Enslavers campaign on SC2Mapster, but as far as I know there isn't an SC2 port of the second one anywhere.

A Korean version is now available, courtesy of storycraft!
No plan for Enslavers 2. I might do a clean-up Tubelisk's maps for the first Enslavers in 2014, but I don't think we will ever work on Dark Vengeance. I think the Italian did the terraining, but that's as far as it's going to get in any forseeable future.

Hello, SC1 and SCBW campaign reanimators :-) Do you colaborate with MavercK? He also works on a brood war mod. I see that the models used in the campaign are similar. However, some of the models in the SC1 and BW campaign (guardian, devourer, queen, lurker, dropship) are not the same. Are you going to update them? Blizzard created those models (for the guardian, devourer, queen) they look nice (a little touches here and there maybe). Any thoughts about using the impaler colony from HOTS as a sunken colony?

The first Mass Recall campaign was made with one of the early version of Maverck's mod, but since then the two mods were modified independently.
HotS models, including the impaler colony, will be included in our next major update which we plan to release at the end of this year.

Hey people, version 2.0 is progressing fine, we are adding a number of features that should significantly improve the experience. More details in the coming months.
The biggest modding news in a long time is the kickstarter started by Starcraft Universe.
A dedicated group of gamers is creating a Starcraft RPG map on the Arcade, set in an alternative future where the Dark Voice wins. Their work includes a whole new engine, Terran and Protoss character classes, achivements, and a character progression saved between every session. See the project trailer and the rest of their Kickstarter page for the full list of features. Blizzard is supporting them, one of their voice actors is actually the one who made the voice of Tassadar in the 1998 Starcraft.
This project being on an even larger scale than Mass Recall, it is no surprise that these fellows are requesting donations. As with all Kickstarters, you get a full refund if the project doesn't get enough money. Either they get the $80.000 they need to switch to full time and finish the job, or you are given your money back. They have 18 days left out of 30, and they are currently around $41.000, so it's really something that can happen.
Jones and I don't take donations (yet, anyway) but if you enjoyed the effort and dedication modders like us can put in their games, I encourage you to make the donation to those who need it. More than the game itself, it is the first time in Starcraft history that a custom map becomes large enough for the modders to go full-time on it. Success on the kickstarter would give us a game, but it would also be a formidable encouragement to the modding community, as the proof that modding can grow into more than a hobby if you give enough time and dedication. If you have some money to spare and want to show your support, here you go!

Yup, the black background logo you made is already in our launcher. It is simply that we haven't released the new version yet, we keep everything together for one massive update.

Can you also put cinematics in maps? I know it's entirely possible , cuz i already used them long time ago.

We have looked into it, but the video and sounds have to be added separately and they tend to go spectacularly out of sync, even on PCs that run graphics in Ultra. Unfortunately, adding videos is unlikely to happen in a forseeable future.

Also, some maps do bother me even in they are copy of old SC.
Like the map where Kerrigans gets betrayed by Mengsk on Tarsonis, any plans to change the map from plattforms to city map? With dead civilians and marines and other ruins, it would be awesome.
Same gos for other maps.

It's been a while since we last told you about Recall. Rest assured that the reason you didn't hear from us is that we've been too busy working on our HotS edition, a.k.a. Mass Recall 2.0.
We are pleased with the ways things are going, I am fairly confident that we will be able to release the update in 2013. The upgrade is going to be massive, expect even more improvements than when we switched to sc1BWmod. There is still quite a lot to do, but things are shaping up and I should have the time to make a presentation of the main features within a fortnight. Stay tuned, and as always, than you so much for your continued support! =)

No. This is a Starcraft 2 conversion of the Brood War campaigns, with their strenghts and weaknesses. People legitimately wonder how to improve the campaign, but it is not what this project is about.

another "thank you!" to this group and their incredible work. I have a question, maybe it's a bit early, but is possible that you (compatibly with you work and your private life XD) can follow your project after the "Legacy of the Void", we all hope that the compatibility of LotV and MR 2.0 will be without problem but if it won't be so, can you tell us if you will be here to give us a MR 3.0?

Players sometimes hate the developpers, but developpers hating their players is unheard of ^^
With the usual caveats about us having a job and a social life plus LoV only happening in a few years, yes, we intend to add LoV material to Mass Recall. In time.
