There was a remake of the first Enslavers campaign using our mod in 2011, but the mod has changed a lot and it is no longer playable. I may give it a lift once 2.0 is out. I don't believe Insurrection and Retribution are going to happen: we don't have the games, the plot has no influence on the rest of the Starcraft universe, it is not voice acted and it isn't that good anyway. Plus it would take ages to make given the number of maps. The most reasonnable expansion would be Enslavers Dark Vegeance, but between my job and my social life, it's not something I could realistically get involved into as I did with the core campaigns. | ||

What sort of stuff can we expect in the way of more custom models? I know there are plans to bring in all the new resources from the Heart of the Swarm - one personal hope I'm holding onto is use of the Hyperion model to replace the normal Battlecruiser, as it's closer to what the old Battlecruisers looked like. SC2's Battlecruisers are actually a different type of ship; Minotaur-class Battlecruisers as opposed to Brood War's Behemoth-class, which is the type of ship Hyperion is. But more to the point on the end of models, I know there are a lot of custom models out there, things like custom-made building addons, like the Control Tower, and a Machine Shop. One person I believe is working with you pointed out a de-infested Stukov unit model and portrait, and I've seen a particularly impressive unit model for Raynor's vulture that has the Marshal symbol (the one available as a decal through leveling up) on it where the decal would be, not as a texture, but as an actually raised sculpted part of the model. Are there plans to include any of these types of works? I'd love to see Duke with a custom portrait instead of the generic Battlecruiser pilot. Another thing I wanted to mention; I brought up a point similar to this before, earlier in the topic, on the note of certain heroes. Through observation, I've seen that a number of heroes either move, or attack faster than their base counterparts. Raynor as a Vulture, the Hyperion, Fenix as a Dragoon, and Kerrigan as a Ghost are heroes I remember having a faster attack speed than normal. Raynor on a Bike, and Fenix on foot also move faster than the normal versions (I don't remember if Dragoon Fenix moves faster or not). Worth noting about these two however, is that their moving faster than normal is not simply a case of already benefiting from their base unit's speed upgrade. If said upgrade is purchased, Fenix and Raynor proceed to move *even faster*! Is this something you plan to duplicate, or is this being left out for whatever reason? I know there were plans to make an adjustment to Raynor in some form, and I pointed out an issue with the Hyperion's attack pattern as it appears in Episode 3 (look for my posts earlier in the topic about that), but I believe I noted that already appeared to be changed with the Brood War mod. One final note I wanted to bring to the table; the issue of talking animations for portraits. Now, the audio files in the game all seem to have specifically-programmed lip-flaps to go with them, and they don't seem to be specific to any one model that I can tell. Which means, conventional logic means proper talking animations for Brood War's dialogue should be impossible, or at least mind-numbingly difficult. However, I saw a mod made some fair while ago that hand-waved this by applying some sort of generic lip-flaps when dialogue was playing. I don't know how much of what sort of effort this took to accomplish, but is it something you've already, or might consider looking into for future updates? Still loving this though, and eagerly await news and release of the HotS update! Keep at it guys, you rule! | ||

This is by far the largest update we've ever made, everything listed here will come with the HotS edition. There are more features that would have been interesting enough to be listed here, but I'm not sure it will be ready for the next update so I'll talk about it when we have made enough progress. Expected release date is around Christmas, with the inevitable bug-fixing patch shortly afterwards. Questions and comments are welcome, and as ever, thank you so much for your continued support! | ||

Also, as for the heroes attacking faster, go load up Brood War and see for yourself - the only one I'm uncertain of is Ghost Kerrigan, the others I know for a fact attack faster; Raynor's Vulture and Fenix's Dragoon. | ||

Have you added highlighting to portraits when their text is "typing" and they're talking at the moment? I mean Overmind talks right now, and his portrait is highlighted with brighter border or something like that. Or just add character names into the dialogue texts? | ||

I beat the level, but at the end of the final cutscene, with Kerrigan in plain view killing off the remaining buildings, I got a message that she was dead, and a defeat screen. I mean, I'm just gonna move on to the next level of course, but it was odd. Any idea what might've caused that? | ||
