Please make sure to read the statement from Naniwa that is linked in the full article before commenting. |
I find it seriously annoying that almost none poster from at least 6 pages of posts did not read Naniwa statement. People are so eager to judge not even bothering to find out anything about the topic. To be honest i am really happy for Naniwa - he is one of the most focused on his goals guy in SC2. Quantic with open approach to players will be perfect for him. Especially that they want to support players in Korea.
As for Jason Lake statement - in my eyes(aka my personal opinion) - he is one of those guys who will twist words enough that things will look like he is the only good guy in whole world. Never been a big fan of complexity. Im not into this whole _false core values_ . Also complexity is to be honest mediocre team with decent players but no real top of the top. So i think whole change will go only better for Naniwa.

Don't really know what he wants from Quantic as he wants to stay in korea and coL has MVP while Quantic has nothing right now, I doubt he wants to stay in the gom house long term. Oh well gl to both parties, good deal for quantic, + Show Spoiler +depending on up/downs they might have the only white guy in code s now. He's staying in the ST house now. Quantic has an agreement with them.

honestly not that suprised complexity seems to be upstanding players and naniwa isnt exactly the nicest guy.... He is great talent though and i hope quantic works out for him

Does someone else think Naniwa might be the reason of the split up of QIM? (The IM manager didnt really say nice things about him on his twitter during MLG providence)

I liked Naniwa's statement. It made a lot of sense. And, strangely, he actually sounds less hostile than CoL, which is weird for a player typically considered abrasive.
He's an awesome player and he'll do well on any team.

$10 on Complexity signing Moonglade to replace him.

And people keep saying "read nani's statement first" when it's obvious that complexity kicked him out.

Lonley naniwa makes me sad

Heh, interesting turn of events, not surprising though.

It just reinforces the fact that naniwa may be really hard to deal with
Or maybe he just doesn't like trimaster?
Anyways, it isn't the public problem, and col got rid of naniwa as they wanted, nani got a new team that supports him in korea and qxg reinforces its line up.
Everybody is happy?

Why dont you read Jason Lake's reddit post first.

That sounds reasonable to me. Living alone in a Korean house must really drain on your psyche.

Please read Naniwa´s statement before you make a comment about how "bad boy" Naniwa is...

Well good for the both of them. Complexity wanted to get rid of him, and found him a good new team instead of turning this incredibly ugly. Nani gets a new team and can continue to play in Korea.
Good for everyone?

There is no possible word twisting I see as possible in Jason Lake's statement, unless you think he's straight up lying. Either TriMaster would not be going to Korea or Naniwa would not have been aware of it, neither of these would be "twisting words", it's either true or false.
Lake's statement considers, this is kind of disappointing on Naniwa's part. Apparently Dignitas wasn't keen on renewing his contract and Complexity sells it after a short duration, doesn't seem like the easiest guy to have on a team.

I'm not gonna be sympathetic to complexity though. They should have known what the hell they were getting into when they acquired naniwa and their own greed bit them in the ass.

That is usual approach from complexity. It happend at least one time that i can bring on.
Someone from their own rooster criticize complexity - he gets kicked / sold / etc.

Maybe you should read Jason Lakes statement as well.
Not surprising, when will you learn Nani?
I hope Quantic works out for you.

Because they should read it before riding Nani for being ''kicked out'' - it was the single extra piece of info available at the time and people decided to not read it, remember I only posted the CoL statement like 10 minutes ago.
Furthermore, his contract was sold, he wasnt kicked out. Big difference.
Anyways, I much prefer Quantic to CoL and was kinda disappointed when Nani joined Complexity, I'd be his fan no matter what team he is in but this is pretty sweet, hope it works out in the long run.
