Please make sure to read the statement from Naniwa that is linked in the full article before commenting.

Completely understandable move. Plus, I don't really like complexity.^^ Go NaNi!

Quite frankly, Jason Lake's statement makes coL look petty, Naniwa hwaiting!

To be honest i am really happy for Naniwa - he is one of the most focused on his goals guy in SC2. Quantic with open approach to players will be perfect for him. Especially that they want to support players in Korea.

As for Jason Lake statement - in my eyes(aka my personal opinion) - he is one of those guys who will twist words enough that things will look like he is the only good guy in whole world. Never been a big fan of complexity. Im not into this whole _false core values_ . Also complexity is to be honest mediocre team with decent players but no real top of the top. So i think whole change will go only better for Naniwa.

Naniwa fighting!

There is no possible word twisting I see as possible in Jason Lake's statement, unless you think he's straight up lying. Either TriMaster would not be going to Korea or Naniwa would not have been aware of it, neither of these would be "twisting words", it's either true or false.

Lake's statement considers, this is kind of disappointing on Naniwa's part. Apparently Dignitas wasn't keen on renewing his contract and Complexity sells it after a short duration, doesn't seem like the easiest guy to have on a team.

Forgive me - I might used bad wording. What I ment is whole situation. He is very good at doing PR. They always try to bring situation in favor of complexity. Which is understandable - You want your brand/team to look as good as it can.

The second statement just make CoL seem like assholes, I don't see what they would gain by releasing that.

Clearly I understand naniwa now, he and major are in a competition to who can switch teams the most I expect another team switch from major to keep ahead of nani.
On another note thought I'm not too surprised to be honest lots of big names jumping teams recently, sC, polt, Sangho + clide and now naniwa.

Just as a fyi, Naniwa is way ahead right now in that competition...

And people keep saying "read nani's statement first" when it's obvious that complexity kicked him out.

Because they should read it before riding Nani for being ''kicked out'' - it was the single extra piece of info available at the time and people decided to not read it, remember I only posted the CoL statement like 10 minutes ago.

Furthermore, his contract was sold, he wasnt kicked out. Big difference.

(emphasis mine)

Not particularly. I'd presume they found someone to buy out the contract because Naniwa was contracted for X period of time and would be owed money if he was dropped prior to the contracts completion.

Wait wait. So Naniwa throws his team under the bus and it's a good reason to leave, but then Jason Lake says it wasn't the only issue/Naniwa was kicked and he (Jason) is an asshole? Incredible.

Anyways, I much prefer Quantic to CoL and was kinda disappointed when Nani joined Complexity, I'd be his fan no matter what team he is in but this is pretty sweet, hope it works out in the long run.

It definitely sheds some light on why Stephano just walked away from the team.

Well, it's a pure NA team now! http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/CompLexity.
And who are they going to pick up now? I don't see any top player joining coL atm, maybe some mouz player. Any top EG player isn't buyable . And Liquid players seems to be so loyal to their team.

well ofc...EG does the same thing (but worse IMO) and that's why alot of people don't like them now.

Anyway, don't really see drama here. Naniwa wanted people to stay and practice with in Korea, and CoL wasn't going to give him that.

GL to Quantic and Naniwa. With Destiny and Nani being two of my favorite players, QxG is quickly becoming my favorite team!

Well, it seems like Naniwa stated false information so why wouldn't complexity correct everyone?

Well, there are a lot of teamless Koreans they could probably pick up (e.g. JYP, Killer, HongUn, etc.).
