i think that korean bw is losing popularity steadily and the best solution is to get attention by pushing the sc2 scene with BW players... BW leagues might get more attention if sc2 was added it seems like...
i can see BW players playing sc2 and BW at the same time actually... but it might decrease quality of BW pro scene.
It would also be uninteresting if the top 10 BW players didn't switch and everyone else played both BW and sc2 since those top 10 will forever be top 10.
But as far as rumors go, players here and there are switching, even the big guns.
on the sc2 vs bw side of this discussion...
battle hellion =/= hellbats. go back and play BW if you want lurkers and whatever other units in BW.
I wasn't trying to say one game is better than the other. All I was trying to say is HOTS is not moving SC2 any closer to what broodwar is.
And battle hellions actualy are firebats, just buffed. Since WOL you could tell that hellions were a firebat/vulture combo but it resembled vulture more in tech, cost and stats for the most part, now with battle mode you get an improved firebat for the same cost and tech.

Really? Its the complete opposite from my POV. Blizzard continues to shit on anything broodwar. There was a lot of noise about zerg needs lurkers, what do we get ? A nerfed broodlord. They know terran needs the goliath and they fucked up with the thor but they keep beating around the bush with stupid spinoffs of the unit. Battle helions? That's a firebat you fucks, why not just bring back firebats? And also carriers being replaced for a super corsair.
I'm a bit excited to see what broodwar pro's can do in sc2 but I kinda wish that they would just give blizz the finger for abandoning so much of broodwar.
Goliath and warhound are different, like the fact that Goliath doesn't do aoe. Battle hellions are MECH firebats, an important distinction because Blizz wants to address the mech issue in Terran.

Warhound: like I said its just a stupid spinoff of a goliath. Battlehellion: see my last post.

Fantasy is more a strategist than a mechanics bonjwa just look at how well he plays when he knows his opponent strategy , laying the smack down on stork with a 3 - 0 at bacchus osl 2010.

you mean oov told fantasy exactly what to do and he took advantage of stork's forever-silver miner status.
At least the consolation prize for Stork fans is that Stork beat Fantasy the next day in Proleague.
I will never be a Fantasy fan after seeing what he did to my precious Song Byung Goo.
Don't worry JangBi released the fury of his fallen high templar brethren on fantasy and he did it in a convincing fashion . Talking about that now i got to link nukethestars jin air osl 2011 hype video........
Heo Yeong Moo !!!!!
Besides that I do believe fantasy is a brilliant player despite him being one of iloveoov students and a well deserved one .Still jin air osl 2011 finals is also one of the best to watch if you are wondering what is bw proleague all about.

No, Fantasy just got piggybacked by oov all the way to OSL gold. Fantasy has decent mechanics and good multi-tasking however.
I don't like the idea of him (fantasy) being called a total parasite more like he was inspired by iloveoov style of playing and strategy and tried to emulate it after all iloveoov probably look at fantasy as next of kin and passed down all the knowledge has has about terran . So in other words fantasy is iloveoov 2.0 to a extend . I believe he is learning to develop his own style and bacchus osl 2010 he dissected stork like a hot knife through a butter and with that I mean he studied his opponent play and stork played just the way fantasy wanted him to do and that's what made song byung goo lose to fantasy.

Fantasy will be the best SC2 player if he switched. The guy's style is made for SC2. He's basically MMA on steroids.
That's funny since MMA was Fantasy's bitch when they were in SKT together. Now MMA thinks he's some big shit. LOL
i don't recall mma acting pompous. only humble actually.
He seemed so for a long time. Until he betrayed poor Yugioh.
He picked yugioh because he said that MVP was going to if he didn't.
We're going off topic but, MMA suggested Yugioh to MVP. MVP was going to pick Yugioh on MMA's suggestion. Not the other way round. There's no denying it. He betrayed him.
EDIT: I still love MMA. But can't forgive him for what he did.
This. So he suggest the idea to MVP, realizes that MVP may actually do it, thinks that he would rather have the free ticket than give it to MVP so he picks yugioh
i had a dream last night, was talking to flash and jaedong in person, while sangho was the translator (...). they both didn't like the game and thought it was too easy so they don't want to switch
Having good execution isn't everything. Look at Nestea versus DongRaeGu. I'm somewhat sure the latter has better mechanics, but he's by far not as successful. I recall an interview with Bisu where he said he didn't really think about his strategy and such, he just let the coach decide that for him. Is it a surprise that some former coaches are doing very well in SC2 at the moment, even if they couldn't keep up anymore with Brood War's high mechanics?

Apparantley Cella said that MMA jokingly talked about picking Yugioh to MVP and then MVP said he would, so then MMA did it instead, and there aren't any hard feelings between them. Hell, Yugioh picked MC so obviously he didn't really want to stay in Code S .
Any ways, MC is playing against 'herO' right now on stream, lets see how it goes .
YuGiOh doesn't live in the SlayerS house, does he? I'm not sure how close he is with the team. I thought he actually practiced a ton with the HoSeo team.
still not giving credit to MMA for the fantastic GSL win and GSL runner up's eh people.
What he did to yugioh wasn't the most well thought out. I think he made a mistake, and realized it after the fact.
And, riverkim, everyone changes. MMA can change, Yugioh can change. that is what makes life interesting. MMA can suddely get lazy and fall off. Or MMA can work harder eat healthy food and improve further.
Perhaps during his days with SKT, his injury to his hands bothered him too much. Perhaps MMA wasn't exactly eating the healthies food. It takes a mentor or a coach to instill or educate a pupil the ways of eating healthy, drinking healthy, discipline and confidence. Clearly MMA has learned and now can beat S class terrans like MVP, who used to be an A teamer in BW.

Do you have some obsession with MMA's eating habits? I've seen you make several posts about it.
