the only thing we can surmise, i think, is that at least SOME of these bw players will be very very good at sc2. we don't know how good, though, esp if they do end up pushing the envelope. i think dismissing the ability of these bw players' is foolish.

anyway, i'm really excited about some of cj's players even though i am not a cj fan (lecaf/hwaseung rip) and, man, i do enjoy hiya's sense of slightly pubescent age-humor.

Just a question, was Perfectman better than MC (aka Iron) in Broodwar?). I only knew that Iron was terrible in proleagues and was only famous for beating Effort once, but I heard many Perfectman jokes such as:

People bandwagon MVP because he's actually that good. He's the best BW progamer that transferred so far, and consistently played on A-team roster on Woongjin even though he was mediocre. Boxer, Nada, and July were good like 10 years ago (exaggeration, but still gets the point across). If they still played BW, they would be dominated by progamers such as (P)PerfectMan, and that's IF they get sent out in the first place.

Then you have people like Light and Best, who would have easily won a title (or more) by now if they didn't have to play their race's weak matchup (TvP and PvZ). Light's TvZ is and Best's PvT are unstoppable, but their TvP and PvZ matchups respectively are just awful. Its funny how Light is 3-0 vs Jaedong this season yet has a loosing record vs Perfectman lol.

he was oz's first string protoss. take that as you will.

lol he managed to make a few survivors and even the MSL proper once but his winrate is like 37%. but yes, he's significantly better than MC.

Wasn't MC's record in televised games something like 1-9?

I remember back in 2009 when he qualified for an OSL for the first time (bacchus I think) he was hyped up as the next bonjwa or something lol

He gets a lot flak for his 1-9 record but if you look at league qualifiers and Dream League games he was actually 43-42. I don't think he was necessarily worse than Perfectman. If he was at Oz instead of CJ, which had the deepest lineup in the league, he would have gotten more playtime, for sure.

....MC was on MBC. there was jaehoon and tyson. and pusan. all three of whom sucked donkey cock at the time MC was on MBC.

He made it into the Ro36, never more than that. It's not a big deal.
