HiyA said on his Afreeca stream that he thinks he might switch to Starcraft 2 soon. Key word being "might".
Also on his Twitter,
HiyA: SC2 was a hard game... TT
XellOs also has the same line on his Twitter profile as Hydra:
Looks like CJ Entus in general is preparing for SC2.

lol people still doubting flash after he singlehandedly pushed the sc metagame a few notches every year.

Well besides the fact the 10% brain usage is such an ambiguous stupid made-up statistic, I do want to point out that 100% brain usage at an instant, i.e. all neurons firing at max, is a seizure.

I thought Xellos retired, glad to see him still playing. Perfect Terran!
Hiya has been through a lot lately, hopefully he finds success

Key word being at any point in time. Honestly the brain is so hard to understand that I don't think we should take anything anyone says about its function too seriously.

10% of a bigger brain is more then 10% of a smaller brain but yeah thats a case for mythbusters xD
even when you read something you use your whole brain some parts not so much then others but there is no region that is completely unused.

The washed up old players like Xellos and some of the B-team will probably go to Sc2. Some better players like HiyA could switch if they don't find a new team.
I really doubt that the top Cj players like hydra or Leta will switch but wait and see !

Hmm, may be small news, but a semi-progamer on STX Soul just messaged Jinro on his stream asking for practice. Said his ID in BW was Sinsa as well. He also gave his name as Jae Sung Choi.
There's a player with the same name on TLPD: What
Jinro had just played him and was watching the replay when the message occured.

heh this makes me happy: HiyA: SC2 was a hard game... TT

HiyA is streaming Brood War right now on afreeca, you can find restream here. Mod Nalho was translating what he was saying few minutes ago:
hes saying he might give up as a progamer, he wont quit his license but he might go on to sc2, since he thinks most sc1 teams are moving on to sc2, he'll just go to sc2 as well so might as well practice sc2 first and be better

Just a question, was Perfectman better than MC (aka Iron) in Broodwar?). I only knew that Iron was terrible in proleagues and was only famous for beating Effort once, but I heard many Perfectman jokes such as:

Boxer, Nada, and July were good like 10 years ago (exaggeration, but still gets the point across). If they still played BW, they would be dominated by progamers such as PerfectMan, and that's IF they get sent out in the first place.

Its funny how Light is 3-0 vs Jaedong this season yet has a loosing record vs Perfectman lol.

Yeah we use 100% of our brain. I think our Memory potential is "untapped" or what not though. Right? Didn't some scientist quantify our memory storage capacity in our brains and its like astronomical.
Otherwise if we only used 10% of our brains we would be dead from failing organs and systems and shit.

would be awesome if he switch. watching his stream right now haha its funny when he has trouble

Since we don't really know how memories are stored I'm pretty sure that didn't happen. People calculated the number of possible connections between nerve cells in the brain, but what that means for memory or "computing capacity" isn't clear.
I'd be a little disappointed if Hiya switched. I watched his FPVODs and it seems like his play is still solid A-class. Then again he might do better fighting for GSL titles instead of having a guaranteed place in the PL lineup of a second tier team in BW.

he was oz's first string protoss. take that as you will.
lol he managed to make a few survivors and even the MSL proper once but his winrate is like 37%. but yes, he's significantly better than MC.

Pretty sure PerfectMan was better than MC/IrOn in BW. He was actually sent out in PL (wasn't he sent out in SPL finals 2009 too?) and actually won matches sometimes. MC was barely sent out and lost almost every game.
