Oracle is the dumbest unit in the history of sc. Why don't they replace it with a unit that disconnects other players from the game and shuts down their computers temporarily.
Ya well, at least I don't fuck a fleshlight with a condom on and cry at the same time.

AtA is 22 dmg with an attack speed of 3, splash radius of about a single fungal growth.

AtG is 35 dmg with an attack speed of 2.2, no splash.

Youtube videos and conversations from friends at blizzcon.

Tempest has an AtG range of 6 and an AtA range of 6.

It's been erroneously been stated that it's AtA range is 4 multiple times, but you can easily see in promo vids that Tempests fire before Mutalisks do. Mutalisks have a range of 4.5.

Mutas attack range is actually 3, so it is still possible for Tempest to attack first if AtA range is 4. I have no idea if it is, however.


AtA range of 4 would make it thoroughly useless unless it's as fast as a phoenix... and we all know that shit ain't happening.

.... Vikings being "phoenix" vs Tempests....

Making 6 tempests that require Fleet Beacon? Zerg would have the entire map by then. And maybe killed you twice with mass roaches too.

Edit: Same deal with terran but with ghosts and stuff


Fact: Tier 3 units are designed to die to mass Tier 1.5/2 units. Trying sending equaling equal resource count BC against Void Rays and it's not pretty.
Same goes for:
- corruptors vs. Mutas,
- Colossi vs Immortal,
- Siege tanks vs. Thors.
- Ultras vs roach
- BC vs. Vikings, etc etc


Tempest solves that problem by being a flying Thor (adjusted for balance).


BC's SPLATTER voids... because if you get BC's you get yamato.

Corruptors are not T3, they're the same level of tech as Mutas.
Colossi in number STILL liquefy Immortals.
Siege tanks in numbers STILL incinerate Thors.
Ultralisks straight up SMASH THE SHIT out of Roaches. Which is why Muta/Ultra/infestor is the gamepaly of the future according to iDra and Nestea...
BC's... yeah they do get smashed by Vikings... but Vikings are the best Air superiority unit in SC history (other than scourges)

I wish a rebuttal of your claims.
- Most Terrans who rush BC against Protoss going zealot/stalker/VR will tell a different story.

- Really? 6 Colossi (with range) vs 8 focus firing properly split Immortals and the colossi win? I don't think so, Tim.

- That's my point. Siege tanks are a lower tier than Thors and in equal resources will melt thors.

- Really... so 6 c.plating Ultralisks costing 1800m/1200g (not including plating) are going to smash 24 focus firing/stutter stepping glial r. roaches of same cost. I am *very* skeptical of your claim. Seriously.

With the carrier gone what's the Fleet Beacon gonna have on it now, it only had interceptor upgrade. In bw there are 22 total upgrades from the core, templar archives, citadel, observatory, robo bay, fleet beacon and the arbiter tribunal. WoL only has 8 I think.

Immortal range should be an upgrade. Hopefully, they fix that . That unit is way too hard to deal with early-mid game as Zerg unless you hard countered it with a Spire because of force fields. I don't want it to be expensive. Just a short 100/100 upgrade from the robo bay. More upgrades like that would make Protoss certainly more interesting in terms of diversity.

i was just playing a custom game of HoTS in WoL and i found out too things that should be fixed.
1: in PvZ the protoss and just make one pylon then use the nexus energy to make it into a cannon to kill early expoing zerg
2: in TvT or maybe and TvX the shedder can be dropped on enemy mineral lines are kill all their workers. WAY MORE EFFECTIVE than the old blue flame helions pre patch

however i do love all the other new units and abilities. ive been playing as random and ive found each new unit very effective
