I'm just glad they didn't remove the Observer for Protoss. I was worried there for a moment because of the Oracle. Also happy that the Mothership is gone, but T_T about the Carrier.

It is impossible to think of any situation were a Replicant would be useful and even if there was a situation it wouldn't be any fun to use. Imagine trying to micro these stupid little probes into a PvZ battle trying to steal an infestor wtf? It would only make sense if you could take the big units but I;m not going to build thse for a "chance" to get myself a marauder or roach or infestor,

For all of those complaining about the Protoss units... Protoss has ALWAYS been the gimmicky spell centric race... If anyone even mutters about Motherships being overpowered or even defensive recalls being overpowered look at broodwar... where recalls and stasis rule the PvT Meta... Just be excited and happy. If anything is legitimately retarded they'll attempt to fix it. They've been getting better at that.

Gimmicky usually means a unit that doesn't do damage, or only does damage in very specific ways (e.g. the Terran Whirlwindy thing that only does damage if YOU come to IT).

Sounds like a Lurker or burrowed Banelings...
Gimmicky would be like DT rush vs Zerg, less and less common as the metagame shifts, not like the Terran thing.

Still confused about a lot of this, not totally happy with the Protoss changes. The Terran changes seem kind of weak as well but I think Terran has quite a variety of units and abilities already.

Construct-able rocks seems downright silly.

of course shit needs to get balanced but why are people so scared? they really didnt just go for the "1 unit per race" thing but rather added so much that no one can even imagine how the game will play now.

i think the game will become much better and surely will require many patches

i mean does anyone really think the game will become worse? those people should get bitch slapped
