Wow, seeing the units in action. I can say I like them, some of the animations look silly (the pulling away)but that can be fixed.

And it looks like all those units are microable and not just a move stuff. Nice, I am happy with this.Haters gonna hate

did you completely forget the replication unit? You can mimmick ANY unit, even those OP terran/zerg units. Toss now has an infestor.

If they can't copy massive there is literally no reason to spend more gas than what terran/zerg are spending on their unit when you can just build something of your own for less.

And if there is a change to massive I could definitely see huge balance issues arising. I don't see good things in the future for this unit.

I don't like the mass recall for energy seeing as a lot of protoss have 75 energy 10 minutes into the game. Other than that, everything has me extremely excited.

The Zerg units are great and a perfect addition to the race.

The Protoss units look weird and got even more weird abilties, not a fan of it.

The Terran units got a nice concept behind themself, but the design is just very bad.

Seeing some of this discussion and watching the trailers reminds me of what I used to do during WoW after blizzcon or major patch notes were hinted at since I ran a successful guild. I forbid my guildmates from discussing any expansion or patch that was more than 1 month away or they'd be globally muted for as long as I felt or other such punishments. Jesus, I'm such a buzzkill. But the amount of speculation from things that will 100% guaranteed change before we see them is so meaningless to me. Also, until there's a lot of hands on testing, knowing what is actually good/bad is impossible to tell.

I will say, however, that the removal of the carrier seems wrong to me. Regardless of balance issues or desire to add another air unit, just removing the unit 100% seems sketchy to me given its history.

So, a few questions.

First, where is everybody getting the specific details (X unit is Hive Tech, X unit has Y hit points, etc.)? So far, I've only seen one for Protoss and it isn't as specific as some of the info that's been posted here.

Second, I am curious about some particular things. Does a replicated unit get the same hit points as the unit itself, or does it get the replicators hit points? Everyone is very sure the shredder does tremendous, tremendous damage. Are the stats actually available anywhere?

Copy a Raven, drop a PDD. Marine fire gone. Your Zealots can now attack the tanks without being melted by DPS. Copying an SCV to make bunkers doesn't work cause you need a Barracks to build it, which requires a Depot which requires a CC, but you can copy to get Mass Orbital Commands in a long term macro game (MULES FOR TOSS!)
