replicants will be useless unless they have something like 100 hp.


Even then, I can't really see a situation where they would ever be valuable for stealing an enemy unit. MAYBE having them disrupting reinforcement routes if your opponent makes the mistake of rallying instead of sending units in a ball.

They might be an interesting macro tool if they're cheap/fast to build. Zerg have inject larva, protoss have replicant energy. Something like that.



They don't steal, they "copy". So.....

I'll reserve judgment until I see the cost of and mechanics of the replicant.

Tempest looks extremely boring, I don't understand the role it fills, Its still gonna get shredded by mass marines/mass hydras since it does high damage single target dps Air To ground (which is exactly similar to void rays).

I hate the new air caster, I want to be able to do serious damage to mineral lines like BFH drops or banshees, not cast quaint little bubbles which just delay economy without actually doing any tangible damage.

I'm actually really pissed off right now.


I actually completely missed that - the tempest is basically a void ray that does ok vs Mutas.

I agree about the oracle though. And since the "bubbles" can be killed, you just have to leave like, a single marine (or a queen, HMMMM) at your mineral lines and it will basically nullify the ability entirely.

I don't understand why people keep claiming that Z have their "Lurker unit" back. The description I'm reading is of a unit that's nothing like a Lurker. The only similarity is that it must be burrowed to work.

Burrow moving banelings is really dumb. Otherwise, the unit ideas look cool. There is probably going to have to be a lot of balancing before release, like with WoL.

When a few DTs, banshees, or ghosts come up on a mineral line you are in trouble and will suffer losses, but you have time and can react to mitigate that. Burrowed banes rolling up to a mineral line doesn't work that way.

Great Blizz, make banelinge mine positioning completely redundant and encourage less micro while placing them. I like how that just makes using banelinge mines more newbie so even bronze idiots can pull it off...

It's just a guess, but I'm thinking that pylons might not be counted in this stipulation? Only buildings, like core, gate, stargate, etc..? If not, this makes pylon blocking a zerg natural extremely likely.

If you put 3 shredders at a choke, ie shakuras natural, he simply cant attack up your ramp with lings or roaches.


That is my point, you could stop 200/200 army of low range/melee units with 6 supply of your own stuff.
