Honestly if this isn't something around the line of Revamped mothership/carrier/phoenix im gonna be mad at them, a stargate unit is like the last the freaking last thing toss needs atm with 3 sg units that are barely seen outside of all ins ( 4 if you count the mamaship ) and 2 ( mamaship and carrier ) that can't even be used in a decent all in.
Edit: Thinking about it, it might be "the unit" that is some kind of air units support and makes the other air units work but i doubt it.
You dont think that actually being able to use air more would be a good thing? I sure do.

It's common knowledge that blizzard tried to get the warhammer 40k licence with starcraft 1, so after they failed they made zerg which are based on the tyranids, toss based on eldar, and terran which are based on space marines.

Everyone who thinks it's a corsair is horribly wrong. Phoenix is probably one of the most popular/well made new units in SC2 and I doubt that would be the unit they choose to remove. If it flies I'm hoping it replaces the mothership as the flying spellcaster.

It is posible it's not stargate unit as Protoss probably got the technology to make some hovering ground unit. Hovering ground reaver anyone?

It's a protoss atg+ata unit that has air+ground forcefields, has aoe damage, can cast storm, and benefits from ground upgrades. It is also permanently cloaked and you can warp units in an area around it.

Would be sick if it was some sort of mobile shield battery. Wouldn't surprise me either
