In all seriousness though, its definately a ranged unit, and would make a lot of sense to have some kind of roach mutation siege unit - so why not have it launch banelings? :D:D | ||

Thor and planetary fortress used to do this and it didn't turn out very well. Then again zerg doesn't have as reliable heals as terran. Taunt would have nice synergy with mutas, would be cool to see. | ||

1. Blizzard makes things that look like what they do. They like things that visually communicate their role. So whatever they do, it will have a form that you can reasonably see in that role. 2. It won't be overly complicated. It won't have like 3 different uses or 5 different modes or something. So far we've seen what looks like a hellion that can transform, and now a unit that probably has a different attack (or only attack) while burrowed. 3. Keeping them a secret isn't that big of a deal. They probably want us to figure out what they are, because they are all going to be revealed at Blizzcon at the end of this month. These are short term teasers. All that said, I think this is the zerg version of the mothership. The thing on its back spins around and it flies ![]() | ||

I think this unit is in the spirit of the lurker. It'll morph from the roach (tier 1 ranged unit, like the hydra from BW), you'll have to burrow it to use it (hence the huge claws in front), and it'll be long range (what the cannon looking thing on its back is for). Heck, it kinda even looks like a backwards version of the Starcraft 2 model of Lurkers. | ||

Lets say you have a standard Colossus Protoss army, your Colossi will be attacking these 'aggro' units and won't attack Lings/Roaches/whatever. You can't target fire individual Roaches and Ligns with all your units. | ||
