from what i've seen he likes to keep it low tier high aggression with a ton of queens and lots of creep spread.
ive only seen a handful of games that didnt make it to the late game though.

Stephano is my favorite SC2 player. He is just amazing imo.

That's because he usually lacks the high tech units to destroy opponents early if they have some defense up. He wins by continually trading armies while having a far superior economy.

Sick. Nice to see Goody so high up too!

He has really solid and safe playstyle. He favours Ultra/Infestor/Ling vs Terran and roach/infestor vs Protoss (starts with two base pushes then transitions into macro game with broodlords/infestors). Maybe something has changed in his playstyle, but mostly he favours macro games. Unless It's ZvZ, then you might see some one base ling/bling with incredible micro ^_^

Damn. Nice record. I've never seen iGMacSed play.
While Stephano's achievement is on the EU ladder and a lot of pro players goof around on ladder, I still think a record like this demonstrates an impressive amount of consistency. Top players in all sports lose to players and teams that are worse than they are. Stephano has been outplaying everyone during this streak.

So I'm really curious, who did he lose to ^^?

Not really, but you never know what you get with Stephano, early agression, low econ agression or macro games, he's some one you can not really predict. But his mechanics are really good and so is his game sence.

Rainbow kept a solid 5th place on NA GM a while ago and he is currently ranked 22nd

He is the only pro except for DIMAGA that can make ultras work. >_>

Utilize the potential! He DOESN'T want to go. It's not his goal at the moment.
Well, that's too bad I was really hoping Stephano would end up going far in the long run in international events. Deciding not to train in Korea is a death sentence to a pro SC2 player's career. Koreans are entering in more and more events, so I can't imagine he's hoping he'll be able to just get by without ever playing them.

Though i think that i read somewhere that if he wins a gsl slot at MLG he will evntually go

I'm sure if you played 100% safe on the ladder, doing things which you wouldn't do vs other Pros because it would result in a loss if they aren't cheesing, then someone of Stephano's calibre SHOULD be getting these results. Obviously, for a Zerg this is amazing and has unparalelled difficulty, but obv if it was a KR Terran playing, it would be standard. Didn't MC have a ridiculous smurf as well, or was that a drop hacker?
