I'm not sure the deathball concept exist for terran, as it's too dependant of what the opponent has, it doesn't kills everything like the protoss and zerg deathball (but it's more effective when the units are right) I can't find a comp that wouldn't have some terrible flaws, unless I put some tanks, some vikings, some ghosts, some marines, some marauders, some hellions, a pair of ravens, perhaps some banshees... When the end result is "make everything", not sure the deathball concept can apply. The only deatball I can imagine is mass air (BC/vikings/banhees/ravens), but that would be a terrible deathball vs zerg. Perhaps could work vs toss.

Err How is Mech/Ghost not a reasonable Build vs P/Z every game?

I think BC/Ghost/a few Ravens should be able to deal with anything (assuming perfect micro) EMP/Snipe to take out things that might harm the BCs and Yamato for anything else - as for name of Ghost/Mech - Death metal ftw

(Both armies are highly immobile, of course, and this is why they are balanced to be so strong) This leaves us with the question: what should we call the "perfect" Terran army composition of Ghost/Mech??? Write you suggestion down! If there are enough good suggestiongs, I'll make a poll The original "deathball" in SC was coined during the BW days, referring to Terran Mech vs Protoss at 140-200 supply and 2/2 mech upgrades. Hence, we shall retain "deathball" for Terran and find a new name for the Protoss "perfect" composition.
2/1 *Grins* but i digress

Terran are a race that excels at engagments in small numbers, 2 medevac full of units can destry base's, so typically we should not be naming the terran death ball, but naming the terran style of droping or engaging in small numbers.

Well this is an artificial discussion if ever there was one. I find it completely uncharming to sit down and brainstorm nicknames for things like this. Abbreviations and shorthand names for these things develop naturally as people find a need for the new words. Just start using the expressions and if they are meaningful they will catch on. Meme factories are the worst thing.

IF thats the type of style they are playing, We are talking about a massive mech push later in-game that pretty much rofl stomps anything. Or have you not faced Mech/Ghost?

well actually if you're talking about the strongest terran composition, it most definitely is an air based composition, simply because air units are so so so supply efficient and can fly
anyways, i say deathball for all three races, really there doesnt need to be a new name

200 supply of ravens can handle almost anything lol. so you can just call it death

I'm not even gonna vote, all the options sounds horrible >.>
Is it really that weird to just call it Zerg/Terran/Protoss DeathBall? It's what I've always done, and it makes perfect sense...

Cause Zerg Deathcloud sounds really cool and Terran doesn't have one

Well first we take marines, marauders, medivacs, tanks, blue flame hellions, ghosts, cloaked banshees, vikings, and a couple ravens.
Then take out all the vowels.
And voila!

I'm pretty certain none of these suggestions will catch on.
