I want to respond to this post, and in a mannered way but I'm just not seeing how its possible. Roach cost efficiency of 75/25, and all that gas needed to make Ghost + Mech..

ugh... I just don't want to get into the details but I just disagree with your post / quick logic and extreme holes in your theory crafting. Starcraft just isn't ">" "<" possible.

See the problem with going BC's in this game is that by the time you have 4-5 BCs, a Terran already has 12 viking and one volley almost kills a BC, or stim marine DPS is so strong they can still beat an average sized BC army. Same with Blink Stalkers. Also I've tried BCs vs Zerg and they only win if you're ahead. Instant tech switch hurts when they can make 15 corrupts instantly.

I think the Perfect Terran army would have to be a strong combination of BCs, Thors, Hellions, Marauder. Maybe even some Ravens for PPD and ghosts+ will never hurt.

BC's are there for all around, tanking, consistent fair DPS, yamato to pick off high HP units.
Thors are there for protecting the BC's from light air, vikings, etc. Also for heavy ground like Ultras with the 250mm cannons.
Hellions are there to stop things like 100 crack lings or chargelots from trashing your thors before the BCs can do enough DPS.

I think deathball is viable for all 3 races, and if any other nickname comes up for the respective races then it has to be natural. If it's forced it wont stick, especially with a thread like this with so many ideas being thrown around.

This reminds me of the SC2GG contest thing where they named groups of SC:BW units (like a suicide of scourge or something)

Maybe, but lets say you start the game with a drop harras with BFH and set back the zerg constantly with hellions. This thus allows the Terran to get the gas needed to make a strong mech army, that and siege tanking his side of the map. ONCE he pushes out, you are pretty much screwed unless he makes position/micro mistakes.

All terran needs to do to win is build marines and mauraders and medivacs and 1a2a3a.

Jokes and imbalance whining aside, I think a good mix of marines, tanks, ghosts and a some vikings is a really good death army from terran. I wouldn't really call it a ball because tanks are slow and I picture death balls moving fairly quickly.

O.o Dragonforce isn't heavy or all that hard. If you want heavy look up Oceano or Chelsea Grin or The Acacia Strain. If you want hard metal look up Protest The Hero.
