Hrmm I just got this error message when trying to register my taiwanese account.

The game key you entered cannot be claimed. Please check the key and try again. Alternatively, you can enter this key for a different region by changing the leading part of the www.battle.net URL (ex. "eu.battle.net") in your web browser, or for a different Battle.net account.

This is on tw.battle.net screen

Update: I figured it out. If anyone else has this problem, it's because you don't do it through the games and codes menu. Click on your Taiwan account under Starcraft 2, and use the "purchase game time" option and choose unlimited. Then enter the code you received from offgamers. See you in Taiwan, guys

Hmm, this is probably not the thread for it but if somebody is unhappy about the lag on the TW server and want to trade with a NA account i would gladly love to! I have an extra NA Account and i loved playing on the TW Server! :D PM me!

The site seems to be restocking for quite awhile now..

Go into the channel 'teamliquid', there are generally a lot of foreigners in there.
And some known people too, such as jinro on occasion.
Also Legend, the GSL English cast observer is in there from time to time.

Are there any issues with using a fake NID? Like is it as bad as faking a SSN/SIN or is it done all the time?

Taiwan accounts are so much cheaper than any of the other servers, I might consider this.. Although I will probably get owned as it does share the server with Koreans... ><

Well according to their live support they just told me they wont be selling tw keys anymore due to the changes in gameflier.my

so, is there another way to play on the korean ladder? I don't have a korean social id or anything.

edit : nvm I bought a TW account. Now, when I get the cdkey from the site, I'll need to create a new battle.net account and select taiwan as my country right? I can't use my existing account and just add another game?

Also, they ask for NID. I guess it'll be sent to me with cdkey :/

Has anyone installed the client lately? I know I have to choose another folder than my EU one, but when I try (and I follow the guides) I get this errormessage:

After fooling around with Google Translate it seems it recognizes my location for where my EU settings and replays are stored say they will be deleted? (its not the actual path shown correct either)..

If that's the same message on my KR client, it basically says that it already exists.

So I have NA/EU/KR installed and every time, all I did was rename the Starcraft folder in my documents, installed the new Client, let it create the folder, then merged the two folders back into the original one. Works fine for me :D

I talked with someone on Customer Support, and they put me on a list to be notified when the restock had finished, which they said should be 1-2 more weeks, so I would just suggest talking to someone on Live Support and getting on that email list
