I hope sum1 can help me out here.
I would like to play on the TW/KR server but i'm really not sure about the lag.

I live in The Netherlands and 'pinging' to the TW server gives me around 300 ping.
I know that's quite high but I have no idea what that number actually means.
Is 300 ping still playable or shouldn't I even bother?

300 is super high. I wouldn't bother with it. Lag would be really bad. Ping is essentially how fast it takes for packets to make a round trip from your location to, in this case, kr/tw. So lower is obviously better.

Could someone help me out? My game was patching and at 19 of 22 it stopped said it was done but I cant play bc it only patched up to version 1.3.6

And I have no idea what to do

Hi, I have a problem with the clients, DL the TW/KR client but it wont Start install for some, I think its like my EU client is blocking or smthng. How do I do?

Dont install your TW Client in the same folder as your EU Client, i believe there was a thread dedicate to the installation of the TW client, cant find it right now though.

They should be installed in different folders to prevent the EU client from being overwritten.

Bought it from Offgamers a moment ago but I have a fast question. Some of you say I need to create a new TW bnet account, but the OP states I can just go with my original EU account. What should I do?

Your battle.net account can stay the same. You just need to register your CD-Key at your EU account (which is in reality just a b.net account, not EU specific), and you will have 2 x SC2 licenses registered to your b.net, one for EU and one for TW. No problem at all.

getting this message after I select my folder in documents called "sc2-twn" it still comes up with this error message?? , also how to turn off peer 2 peer, or does that only matter for downloading the client? Because I've already downloaded it, just trying to install it and followed everything correctly.

Great thread. I have read everything and underand the Installation process perfectly. Before I buy though I have a few questions.

I understand how to change the language to English but can anybody confirm whether you can change to English text but with tw sounds?(or kr if change the sounds to kr)

Can anyone confirm and describe a way of keeping everything tw or kr but with English hotkeys? Even an overlay for example.

When changin language to English do the players names stay tw/kr? Also when I select my name can I put in Korean letters since the merge?

Does it still cost 75$ because that seems kinda rediculous, I distinctly remember reading that they cos like 34$ nowadays? someone correct me if I'm wrong please!

There is almost 40 pages of corrections that its now less then 40$. When I go to check out it says 1150 points which equates to ~36$ AUD.

I can let everyone know right now that the lag from east coast to the kr server (Im in north carolina) is not bad at all. I used to have the internet service called Clear (also known as Clearwire) and my ping was around 250 ish (this ping was for US server). Now I have AT&T Uverse and my ping for US is around 20-30ish and my ping to KR is around 250. I played the starter edition yesterday and did a couple of 1v1 customs and was almost able to beat a kr Masters player (he was zerg). I did beat a diamond toss player though ^.^

But yea, this is just to let everyone know that the ping is really low. Im sure if I played on EU server I would experience little to no lag.

So I wanted a second taiwan account and foolishly used the bnet account which already has my first taiwan account on it. Now I have game points and can't get a second license. The points aren't available for other regions on that account either. Am I boned? I opened a ticket with blizzard saying I meant to put the points on my other bnet account. If anyone has ideas how I could fix this I would be thrilled

Hum...
I'm very confused I ordered from the link at Offgamers and I received a serial and password...
I tried putting both into the game key box but neither works.

Can someone shed some light on my foolishness/ignorance?
