IdrA gets paid really well. Don't forget that EG is a huge team. They've been around since like 1997.

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean that he's a worse player. IdrA's mechanics are top notch regardless of whether or not you like him as a player, therefore the outcome was sort of obvious (no offense to Cruncher).

IdrA is IdrA, a complete boss. Machine is HEAVILY underated, he is living with idra, watch out for him. Strifecro has some really good games, You dont hear much about him in solo leagues, but he always seems to have close good games when i watch the team leagues. Demuslim is coming back from injury, and on a different server. When he gets back in form - watch out. Axslav is a great player, i really liked his play in wc3, it was kinda funky and different, and was always fun to watch, in sc2 hes sitting on 55% winrate in tournaments/leagues. 100-80, thats not shabby at all. He did really well in IPL this season too, coming i think 4th, which qualifies him for season 2 automaticly (iirc) I dont know much about LZgamers play and how good he is, but obviously he knows what hes doing, and can play a solid game. also being the only terran in the roster (while demuslim was injured), i assume made him valuable for practice etc (i dont know just a guess) Lz's nothing special, maybe one of the better NA terrans but EU has so many more. Strifecro I've seen him either crush or get crushed only more often get crushed. Demuslim is good that's true. Axslav's not bad, I would place him third. Machine I think was solid, but isn't performing at the moment. Incontrol I think is a bit overrated, but he is doing well currently so he has that going for him. EG feels a bit weak right now imo, but they still do quite well in CWs/team leagues and sometimes better then teams like Dignitas who have a great deal of talent and are generally performing but don't always hold the top for some reason.

However, they aren't exactly a group that boasts powerful results consistently. You have Idra who still performs spectacularly, and Incontrol who has been riding what skill/perks he picked up from beta. For the latter, it's almost as if he's standing still while everybody else is accelerating beyond him. For the other guys, though, it's like they ran out of players to put on their A-team. For these kind of players, you expect them to at least put out great results for things like team leagues, but they're not.

My question remains is what is EG going to do to grow and develop their talent? Just imagine if they actually did the Korean house they kept talking about... they wouldn't have made it in Code B with how they have performed in NASL and across other matches. However should have come to an arrangement such as TL/OGS, I feel they would have vastly improved under a Korean regimented style. EG is at .500 in the NASL. I'm not sure your able to really hold team meetings, practice together, when your spread out across half the world. Clan-house oriented teams continue to dominate this game. Look at how much better TL got from when they went over to Korea? Sure you can talk on skype, voice chat deals, but its not the same as being in the same room as everyone... EG had a lot of plans, talked a lot of talk, an now are fading into mediocre play. In all honestly I think Tasteless cursed them Kerrigan style. Just an opinion.
