EPTEDIT: fixed I had moved the whole units folder into MPQ instead of just the zerg one. Seemed to fix it.

I'm also going to repeat my previous request of a "finished" file with modifications already included, that people can simply plop into their game folder ready to go. | ||

I followed the steps, until I realized I didn't drag the STC files INTO the asset folder, so I tried to remove them. My asset folder has now been renamed to base.sc2Assets and there is no Asset folder inside the base.sc2assets file to open through MPQ anymore.. SC2 still works, though without the mod. Any way to get the old file back to normal and get the mod working? Thanks | ||

It all works perfectly fine, even the zerglings, if you do it correctly. I understand that it can be confusing for some, and therefor frustrating, but just be aware that it does work, and that your starcraft 2 is not a special case. | ||

I know i am doing something wrong somewhere along the line. i never said that my starcraft 2 is a special case. no need to be BM btw. I really did followed the instructions word by word, step by step and downloaded the correct programs, backed up the original SC2 file on MPQ downloaded the1.6 of the MOD, unziped the file saved to a my desktop, team then added them to the MPQ file. not sure which step i am missing... or why it isnt working. | ||

raVensc2 has created an installer for all you guys, for a quick and simple install of this mod. Make sure to comment on his thread and let him know how much you love him. I'd like to do other more complicated things than textures to complete this mod but those things have to wait for the tools to come out. The reason that can't be done is that the .mpq files contain large/all of the SC2 assets, which means uploading the mpq's (even if they are modified) is like/equivalent to uploading part of the game for people to pirate. Aside from that, this mod is really cool and I can't wait to install it, now that I have essentially confirmation that I will not be banned for using it (browder), and an easy auto-installer. | ||
