New thread rule you cannot post in here until lings are fixed k? Haha, I'm sorry man. Ok so here's what happened. I couldn't figure out where the zergling texture file was, which means I didn't know how to overwrite it, or have the game prioritize it. So what I ended up doing, is editing the 3d model itself, and then telling the model to get its diffuse texture from a different file that I named zergling_diffuse2.dds So basically it should make sense that I have to upload both the texture and the edited 3d model to fix it. It seemed to have worked for me. Let me know if it works for you guys too. Zergling Fix So download that, open the rar. There will be two folders, Units and Textures. Both of these go into your Assets folder of enUS.SC2Assets located in Starcraft II/Mods/Liberty.SC2Mod. So for the Units folder you can just drag it since there shouldn't be a Units folder there. I'm not sure how MPQ editor handles just dragging a folder that's already present. I would think it would merge it, which is what we want, but just in case, for the Textures folder, go inside both of them and just drag the new zergling_diffuse2.dds over to the mpq editor. Close the mpq editor before launching SC2. And let me know if it worked.

Its weird, before people were complaining about sc2 being cartoony and not "gritty" enough and now the game is being modded even more so in that direction. Having said that, im not a fan of the way the colors are atm so i really do thank anyone working on finding a change!

Zergling Fix So same instructions as the last upload. I'll update the OP with this one. This includes the fixes for both regular ling and speed ling.
