Hey everyone. Today I'm gonna be doing a special event on Justin Roy's Stream (http://www.teamliquid.net/video/streams/justinsroy). Basically, I'm going to use the account iCCup TV on the European server, take it through it's placement matches and see how high I can take it in one day. As I go I'll be providing commentary on some of the lower level matches, and then probably switch into a Drums and Bass playlist if I start getting some good games.
Why should you watch? Well, I was ~4200 Master's Terran on NA before the ladder got all fucked up in the last few days. I've been working extra hard on my mechanics lately to show some really great games. Also, this is going to be sort of a test to see what the viewership is like. If everything goes well, my team might be funding me with the equipment to run my own HQ stream. As it is, I only have a LQ one which you might have seen in the past which is why I'll be doing this from Jroy's stream. So if you like what you see, I humbly ask that you stick around and watch for a while

You do realize the ladder is locked? I'm not sure what that means for placement matches, but if you get placed into platinum, there is a good chance you're not going to get promoted out of it until next Tuesday. =/

Hm I just realized that. If I can't get good enough games I'll just switch over and play on my NA account. I usually play someone well known every game.

Like OpAndroid pointed out, there seems to be a huge flaw in your plan  .
I'm rather intrigued by the concept though. I hope you'll wait until ladder reset and try it then.

MMR is not locked right? only promotions etc. so a bronze playing vs 4000 masters would be cool

You won't get promoted into Diamond/Masters, but you can keep track of the MMR of your opponents.

I doubt he'd get placed in bronze after the placements. If he's intending to try during the placement matches he'll prob end up in Diamond. The ladder lock still stands though lol.

MMR is not locked no, so i think you should do it and see how high your opponents that you face at the end are.

If you go 5-0 you'll be placed in platinum. If you go 40-10 you'll start playing vs decent master level players. Good luck Ill tune in!

haha, after watching him at the A2 Lan, I think it won't take too long for the computer to figure out he's pretty good :D
