But I have no evidence. Anyone able to comment on the uncertainty? I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere that the uncertainity of a particlar MMR is part of calculations of points awarded and/or adjustements to MMR. i.e. that it is part of the formula used at the end of the match. The idea being that larger shifts to MMR should occur if there is less uncertainty in the two players MMRs to start with. Or did I dream it? ![]()

The problem is that you are in the wrong tier, so your adjusted points will drop and drop, going into the negative region. Once your adjusted points get low enough that they match the tier where your MMR is, you should see even matches again. I don't know how many games that would take, it depends on how many tiers off you are from your MMR. Hey now im not favoured anymore but i started winning against top tier diamonds and now im playing masters ![]()

The more "confidence" it has in your MMR the faster you'll be put in the correct league. You get more "confidence" by playing regularly (more or less).

Even with me losing 3-4 games in a row, I keep facing these people. Does this mean there's some sort of MMR lock? No, Blizzard changed the offsets recently and then you and lots of players are probably with way less points now than they should have, so it's normal, there is no MMR lock.

Déjà vu. The only thing I've heard on this is that the issue has been confirmed and "a fix is in testing now." Still no information about what the actual cause of the problem is, or how widespread it is.

There are a few players being promoted, so a "league assignment lock" couldn't be the answer.
