Need someone's advice!
I tried my hand at doing this myself. I followed every step of Teliko's guide (except one outlined below) in creating my background, but when I loaded up SC2, I saw this.
+ Show Spoiler +
I read this in Teliko's guide
"Some of the menus have weird placement coordinates and will end up making images look choppy when you apply them. You'll see what I mean if you make one to replace the quick match backgrounds. To counter this, I used the Elliptical Marquee Tool and selected a large oval of the picture and applied a Layer Mask, then revealed selection. After this, I applied a Gaussian Blur effect and just adjusted it to how I preferred."
And I assume that's how to fix my problem, but I have absolutely no idea how to do any of that. I'd like to start making my own images for myself and for others, so if anyone could give me some help that'd be great. ^^
(Just to clarify - I want the image to completely fill the box. I don't want any of the blue background there, and especially not as jarringly as it is now.)

For Terran and Zerg, there's no way around it. Your only option is to fade out the left so it at least looks a bit more aesthetically appealing. That's what I'm talking about in the paragraph you quoted. Sorry, but you're stuck with the blue background on the left.

Ah, I didn't notice that all the pictures in your page where the image took up the whole screen, were of the protoss background.
Damnit. Alright, I'll try and figure out how to smooth it out then.

The color when you "box" in-game, the green color. Is there any way to change that to something else, for example red? Such a little change would make it feel really refreshing playing SC2

Such a little change would make it feel really refreshing playing SC2 While this could be possible, and defiantly awesome, I'm afraid I wouldn't know where to start to look for this in the mpq files. And there's a lot of stuff to go through. It would be literally a needle in a hay stack. Sorry, bro.

Gotta admit, while the blue one might indeed be a little bit much blue, looks much more awesome.
