I'm liking the balance changes, especially the Protoss ones. Still a bit skeptical about the fungal change. Zerg will be more vulnerable to harass now but I don't think it'll break the game by any means.

oh man. I'm toss and im happy about stronger pheonix play, but no fungal on them? hmmm idk. I'd be fine with this if they added a hydra speed upgrade, but right now it seems ittl be too easy maybe? But then again, u never know until u play and i'm sure blizz tested this internally for a while.

I agree that fungal growth towards air units can be a little OP. I mean especialyl against mutas or grouped phoenixes and like medivacs. Basically one fungal + 3-4 hydras can kill 700+ minerals worth of units. Very cost effective without anyway to micro out of it (unlike things like storm). If they want to continue this fungal change they should maybe increase hydralisks overall speed to compensate....

Not that I disagree, but isn't the PTR the place where they decide if some stupid balance changes (like the above) are good in practice or not? I mean, I don't think these are *all* going into patch 1.2.

it's supposed to be out this month and the few balance changes they have are doing the opposite of what the balance is needing?

Fungall Growth will NOT be added to the offical game. There is NO counter to phoenix and mutas without it. Any competent player can fly around forever avoiding hydra.

Wow the protoss buffs maybe too much as much as i love it, i think I'm gonna go phoenix every game now that they cant fungal growth phoenixs. It's gonna be awesome, small buffs but there'll be a huge difference.
