There's a Zerg buff that's kinda hidden if I'm understanding this correctly.


• The Ultralisk’s arc-shaped damage area is now centered at the front of the Ultralisk instead of at its center.

Seriously Blizzard? You keep jumping on how the Ultralisk's attack works.

Mass Recall can no longer target larva or eggs.


LOL, I had no idea this was possible. Would've been awesome to see a vid of this happening ^_^

And THANK GOD for the stalement fix. Those floating barracks games were getting a little too boring.

so it does mean that? i asked about it earlier, but i kinda like it , lets make it a tiny bit harder for us zergs to remake our armies or macro ...

Remember this is just in the PTR its not final so people need to calm down.... and fungal hitting air units was a bit OP

i guess sniping those pesky overlords with banshees, mutalisks , phoenixes is quite possible now

Without fungal growth, how the hell is Zerg supposed to stop anything in the air? Chase after them with queens and hydralisks? both of which move at the speed of molasses in winter. Oh I know, Zerg can just outmass the air of the enemy with their mutalisks and corruptors! both of which offer some of the worst DPS per gas ratios in the game! Really Blizzard, at least buff the speed of the queen or hydralisk.

Not that I disagree, but isn't the PTR the place where they decide if some stupid balance changes (like the above) are good in practice or not? I mean, I don't think these are *all* going into patch 1.2.

Nice crying in this thread.

I might be wrong, but PTR changes aren't final, are they..? Forgive me if I'm mistaken.

Everyone is going to flock to Protoss now, assuming the changes stick. Just like many people switched to Zerg after the last couple of patches. The FG isn't a huge deal - Mutas are already quite strong against other air units. Phoenix is going to be standard against zerg though, I'd imagine.

Are we also to assume that the VR damage change is being changed from bonus to armored to bonus to massive? Or will they have both bonuses?
