I think it's a units that can hide itself as a bunker, not something that actually takeover a bunker.
I don't see the dev creating a unit that big that would counter bunker rush (since it's silly, bunker is too low tech tree, this unit is at least t2, and that's what you want from an add-on units). And a unit that would "eat" a bunker is silly (cause you need a terran opponent who actually make bunker?? useless unit in my opinion).
After seeing the video, my post is wrong... this thing actually took over the bunker.
Dunno if it's a good idea, but it's a very PIMP UNIT!

well its still just a concept, i think the important thing is that they basically have confirmed new units will be avaliable. Im gonna put my money on campaign only, but my hopes on new multiplayer units as well.

This unit looks terrible. It's almost as stupid as infested terrans coming out of eggs that come out of an infestor. Why do those things have guns? Can't we get something more swarmy?

You really think they won't put a single new unit in multiplayer? Then who the hell will buy the expansions for a few new campaign missions? There is no way a new expansion to not include some new units for multiplayer .

hope Z gets some proper units

A graphics-only update to Brood War would basically be printing money for Blizzard, but I bet they'll wait until they've mostly milked SC2 and then do it.

I would by an expansion for a single player expansion

So would I, but they will obviously add new units to multiplayer. Alot of players only play the game for the multiplayer, there would be no reason for them to buy it if theres no new multiplayer units so you can be sure blizzard will oblige.

I would as well in a heartbeat, can't wait to see what's in store for us in the Zerg campaign!

I think that this unit is kind of cool. You can tell a lot of effort went into the artwork, and it really shows. Not to mention I would really like this kind of thing in multiplayer, even though from the looks of it it will be a SP only unit.

Let's just hope that Dustin Browder doesn't go overboard with the crazy stuff he designed when he did C&C: Red Alert 2 and C&C: Generals. Last we need are attacking dolphins and enineering bays that come to life or whatever, that stuff doesn't belong in the Starcraft universe.
So far things are going ok but Zerg really needs some BADASS unit. And especially sound-wise Zerg needs to become scary again. Remember the queen and defiler? Nasty sounds did those creatures make. I still remember my first campaign missions with zerg in SC1, i felt so... powerful (while the zerg campaign was damn hard!).
Anyway, this creature looks quite cool:

Especially with the venom-filled tail.

would like it to be a infestor skill. replace the parasite with it mb and make it cost like 75 energy.

Or dropships that can heal any sort of injury no matter how severe from a distance with a ray all the while +'s pop up over the units head.

I don't think people should take the Infested Bunker seriously. It was most likely created as a for-fun mini-project just for shits and giggles, in the same vein as the Terran Terratron. It might be cool to see it in single-player, but it definitely is not multiplayer material.

Had to say something...
C&C generals got Dustan Brouder the job with blizzard... one of the best rts games ever made hands down. I'm sure I’ll get flamed to death for saying that but I'm sure some people will know what I'm talking about. I'd personally be happy if Dustan infused some generals mechanics into the game (Nydus Network=GLA tunnel network?). every unit in that game had personality and truly had feel and infinite micro ability's that transcended its role within the tech tree... the gla scrap mechanic parried with techie/ rpg micro and per-charging your Gatling tanks to get the highest DPS out of them. I could go on all day... obviously it had set backs but the game had micro that rivaled any rts I’ve ever played.
I just think too many sc fan boys can't see past their own nose to see other games had great ideas... they just don’t have the backing of blizzard. I’m thankful for blizzard and hope they make a great expansion.

very cool seeming but the viability of it in online play seems low

If the infested bunker has a slow movement rate, if the marines/marauders inside can exit before the morph takes place, and it can be killed before it morphs by enough units, then I think it would be an awesome and balanced ability. The queen isn't too fast off creep, it requires the Terran to build the structure, and it is a 100 energy cost on a unit that uses its energy regularly for inject. I would even build a bunker to waste the queens energy and slow down the inject process.

I hope it's a lurker - type unit, except not spines, it borrows beneath units and then jumps up and eats 'em. That'd be sick - the micro of running your units away from the shadow would be awesome.
