Huk and MC where both in the group with 5 protoss and 1 zerg. Huk beat 3 Protoss and July 2-0 in group He then beat MKP 2-0 and TheStc 2-1, followed by another protoss. MC beat 3 Protoss in groups He then beat 4(!) Terrans, Rain 2-0, Puma 2-1, MKP 2-1, TheStc 2-1 He also beat 2 Zerg, Ret 2-0, Idra 2-1. Trying to argue balance with huks 3 series versus non-protoss is pointless, both MKP and TheStc also lost to MC so they could have had a bad TvP day. MC on the other hand did exceptionally well, unfortunately I missed all his non-PvP games except the pretty close one vs TheStc so I do not know what happened in them. | ||

Give the guy a fucking break, it is something that he built on the side with his friends. He got 4 other people to join in and have fun (they might get paid but even if they do it's barely anything) but everyone has steal that away and making it out to be like it should be his main focus. Plus with all the traveling the cast members do, do they not deserve a break for a second or should they just be our puppets and do as we please every waking minute? SOTG doesn't pay the bills and sometimes hes going to have to step away for a week in order to complete other tasks. I personally think everybody should be praising these guys for the 3 hours of entertainment they give us when they have the time because frankly its fucking hilarious. Just want to say sorry ahead of time for any grammar problems that occur in this post. I have been up for 24 hours writing papers for university and my eyes are killing me. I have class in a few hours and said fuck it to sleep. Main point. Just thank the guy he puts this much effort into the community, most of you wouldn't if you had the chance. Thanks for everything JP and crew! keep up the good work! Edit: I didn't mean this at every single person, I know lots of you feel the same way I do. It is just directed at the negative assholes! | ||

Because that would be ridiculous. 7 Protosses are beating great terrans. They don't have to be beating the best terran for the match up to be stabilising. Yeah I agree and guys remember that not even other koreans beat MVP or NesTea lol, so why should be foreigners be able to? They're the best, dosnt mean that foreigners cant compete just because they arent beating those 2, cus no one cant compete with an "in the zone" mvp. | ||

Bomber could pretty much afford to lose that game I think. He had a perfect record before meeting sase and sase had lost before facing bomber. Thats why even though sase won bomber still advanced at top of group. If bomber won he still advances top of group. | ||

Why do people keep making posts made of stupid like this. You either play to win or you don't, I'm pretty sure Bomber is not the kind of guy who goes to tournaments to lose games when he doesn't absolutely HAVE to win them. | ||

RTS games, like poker, are games of limited information. Just like making good reads doesn't guarantee being right in every single hand, practicing 8 hours a day doesn't guarantee a win at every tournament. There is something called variance; however, the poker players who are good will win more than they lose in the long run, and it's the same way in this game. There's a reason why the Koreans still took 11 out of the top 15 spots at Orlando, even if one didn't win. Hell, even in BW, where we all agree that the skill gap is much larger, demigods like Savior still dropped games to Sen and Mondragon. | ||
