He asked because of something that happened in the pregame show. I forget exactly why but Geoff ranted about horses in the pregame show and it was hilarious so JP asked him again and tried to replicate it for the actual show since most people missed it. It was definitely funny the second time but you need to watch the pregame show if it was recorded, it was way funnier the first time =).

That and I think that was an episode where they were drinking a bit more than normal. Had to do with some holiday I think lol

Don't bother trying to do SotG during an important event. The pillars are tired, busy, or both. Casters and players alike are preparing for the days ahead. It could be worthwhile to have an episode before an event after everyone arrives, as long as they still have the time necessary to prepare properly and show good matches or cast well. Otherwise always do the show at the regular time, and cancel if need be.
The more the viewership is disappointed for any reason, the less inclined they will be to watch and share the show with friends. This week ended up with two canceled shows instead of one.

Hope they just go back to wensdays. Been so many issues with all this live event stuff.
Atleast they'll have hours upon hours with material 'til next time, unless they chose to skip some of it D:

I'm sure 90% of the discussion will be focused on MLG Orlando and they will breeze right over IPL 3, or "that recent tournament" as it's otherwise known.

Whats wrong with SotGs during after parties like what happened at I think it was the first 2 MLGs? or maybe it was the 1st and 3rd or whatever but either way those were hilarious ones as well as hearing the players talk about there games immediately after the tournament is awesome plus everyone is a bit buzzed and happy.

Curious how the crew writes this off as protoss still being UP....

Yeah I remember those episodes... They were so awesome. Unfortunately with SotG being so much bigger now and them being sponsored by MLG now, I don't think we'll see this kind of thing anymore. Casting from a couch at a party with a bunch of drunk players isn't exactly professional, as awesome as it was lol.

Same way zergs wrote off Nestea's GSL wins and whatnot.

You don't think the smart ones will be analysing HuK. LOL

Can't wait to see InControl's depressed face next SotG.

I dont see why not. Yes this MLG had the most competition but the competition was at a B+ level skill from the koreans. We didnt see MVP MMA Nestea Losira or other amazing terrans that would be gategorized as A level. Not to take anything away from Huk's win but without Any of the A level players being at this MLG you cant change anything on balance atm. As much as foreigners dont want to admit it, korea is still further ahead. But now it's at a point where there are 3 levels of koreans. The bad, the good, and the amazing. At the level that our foreigners are at now, the TOP foreigners only qualify to be in the good section. As much as I want to say Huk is in the amazing section, he's not. Hopefully he will be one day and win a GSL.

Why couldn't there been a SToG tonight or last night? I mean all matches like ended last night around 11:00PM and tonight around 9:00PM. That would of gave them plenty of time to put together at least an hour show.

I seriously hope he reconsiders his play style if he wants better results. He's been getting worse with every MLG this year. Clearly what he's been doing is not working.

Why would he be depressed? I think he's still in the pools for Providence easily enough. MLG just needs to invite one Korean already qualified. (he's 17th now, isn't he?)

what pools? no such thing for providence, it's just a straight bracket.
