Nydus worms also have the potential to unload an ENTIRE zerg army out of it. It makes perfect sense that it has the ability to be killed by workers. In addition, the Nydus only makes the noise once building it has been completed - so if the player fails to scout it, once the noise plays units will have already been deployed out of it. Trying to kill that nydus with workers would be nothing short of a sacrifice.
Nydus - 300/300, one unit at a time, loud, takes 10 seconds to build, requires vision. Warp Prism - 200/0, as many units as Warp Gates, silent, 2 second deployment, does not require vision, re-useable, flying.
It's silly to compare these. Zerg have proved how in-efficient Nydus is, but I don't see Protoss trying their Warp Prism harass out.

Seems like a pretty insecure comment from incontrol having to go for a low blow like that. It's pretty douchey of Huk to try to end a discussion about strategy with lets play 1v1 because I know I'm better than you. the point of playing games is to show how it works... not to win games that are irrelevant to the discussion and say "well i bested you in this situation, so i know better in this other situation as well" That may be the case, but that's not how incontrol took it (or how huk meant it). I mean he responded with "yea you're better than me, you are the better 1v1 player"... not "yea we should test it out together some time". Anyways, I don't think theres a problem with what he said or what Huk said. I'm just saying they're both taking shots at each other and that's perfectly fine. Yea obviously they were both joking around , although i think huk actually wanted to try it out even if he was taking a shot at incontrol.

You have to go out of your way to make a warp prism while Terran will have Medivacs and Zerg will have Overlords in any match-up, regardless. Spending 200 minerals and 2 supply for something that just does the same thing as a 100min pylon as contribution to your army isn't that great.

It was actually quite fantastic did a lot of good damage and when it died he even made another one! but he didnt get to use it he won before the second one came out , it was close air positions though i dont think its great in most situations.

I'm just attempting to show how much potential Warp Prism play has. Please don't resort to "Well, you do it" arguments. If Protoss harassment needs buffing, as you claim, then what is the root problem of it? What part needs a buff? Because right now, I don't even see you or other top Protoss players even trying.
Perhaps there is a buff it needs that I don't see, but we can't see that if literally not a single Protoss is attempting to innovate their play.

just because you dont see a pro trying something in tournies doesnt mean they havent tried it. This reminds me of when every prot told zerg"u nydus and ull start to win". But zerg are like nah it doesnt work and then the community was like i never see you try it so u didnt!

Basically jp forced huk to play a showmatch live. Huk hated it because of possible stream cheating + obs lagging and only want to do showmatch off replays. Huk was really unhappy and refused to talk to JP for months.

And doesn't cost gas! And it can move! And can't be destroyed by melee units! How can you not see that these 4 players simply haven't even tried heavy Warp Prism play and are just making excuses? This would never fly if Day[9] or IdrA or any other race's player was on. if warp prism is so good then show us! i know i personally cant invent and perfect everything that's possible. go for it man I'm just attempting to show how much potential Warp Prism play has. Seriously, nobody said protoss needed a buff. Knock it off.

So does a Medivac? There's only a 10 HP difference. You're not supposed to be zipping over enemy units anyway. Warp Prism has no armor at all as well, making it die a hell of a lot faster. The ability to warp in units is a moot point if it dies in half a second. Warp Prisms with speed are as fast as mutalisks, they should never be hit unlike medivacs then you deploy them to warp-in units.. warp-ins last 5 seconds. warp prism dies in 2. Nydus Worms take 10 seconds to deploy and announce when they deploy. Also, they can be destroyed by workers. Riddle me that. When the Nydus gets announced, it means units are streaming in your base. the only thing I'm saying is warp prism with speed ain't shit if it's deployed. But the Warp Prism announces nothing! And doesn't cost gas! And it can move! And can't be destroyed by melee units! How can you not see that these 4 players simply haven't even tried heavy Warp Prism play and are just making excuses? Then I want to know why it worked! Just like Zergs with Nydus showed how it is clumsy, expensive, unstealthy, and fragile, what aspects of the Warp Prism make it a bad harassment tool? I urge Protoss players to post their findings so we can examine them instead of simply being told it doesn't work.

Pretty underwhelming SOTG tonight so far. This announcement better be good and makeup for it.
