Seeing that you're in the top .01% of players is always cool. Although I guess I could just whip out a calculator Agreed, that would be very cool to know what percentage you're in. Other than that, site looks great and is easy to navigate. It already does that. Find your character, then click on the Details link under your Team (1v1, 2v2, 3v3, etc), and it'll tell you your world rank, region rank, and percentile rank for both.
Would also like to see this for race as well if possible, the percentage and percentile that is, not just the rank.

If we know the accumulation rate (1 per 2hr?) then it should be easy to tabulate the current max (should be around 660 by now?). Another possibility beyond this could be a checkbox to automatically subtract the current maximum from the displayed values right on the site. And, if the total turns out to be inaccurate, the rate can be tweaked on the site until it matches in-game.
I'm not sure why you would want to do this. If someone's personal bonus pool is zero then fine, but if it's 500 then you just docked them 500 points for no reason.

Knowing the bonus pool lets you actually compare the player's rating over time.

I would like to see a graph similar to top 10 all time history. But instead a line showing the # of points the top player overall had, and maybe also a line for the 90%, 75%, 50% (or whatever). This could be better for seeing inflation effect. i.e. you can use the graph to see 3 weeks ago you needed this many points to be #1, this many to be top 90%, this many to be top 50%, etc.

Yeah, there are five Empyreans. Most are incredibly mediocre.

Not quite sure the value for this, as vesicular said you would have to deal with people who have and haven't consumed the bonus pool. So I'm not sure how accurate the numbers you get would be.
I'm not against adding a little ticker that shows bonus pool thought in general.

I like that idea, although I'd need to think of a way of implementing it. I would probably do something a little more static like, #1, top 25, top 50, top 75, top 100, top 500 rather than percent.

Yea sorry, the server is being a bit wonky right now. I'll be moving to a new server or host once I find something that suits my needs.

Note these changes aren't live yet, I'm waiting until I'm back later tonight to push them so I can fix any bugs quickly:
Search redone to be either exact, starts with, ends with or contains for name matching. If a refresh is queued, it will be indicated in the "Queue Refresh" button for profiles
Added achievement rankings, examples achievement rank and profile page
The profile page has been redone so you will see the top header with the character info on the teams page too (except with teams below, not achievements obviously). Any profile requests will refresh the achievements too.
To start with (and probably for a while) I won't be ranking EVERY single achievement. It's not realistic enough to do every single achievement because that would take maybe 1 - 3 minutes per profile, instead of 10 seconds I have right now.
The Story Mode, Economy, Solo League, Melee Combat, Race A.I., League Combat, Team League categories will have their achievements tracked for the time being. I picked the ones that seemed hard to me and not just "you get them by tripping over a zergling", suggestions are welcomed.
For now, I'll start with manually pulling data on everyone from highest achievement points to lowest to get the initial data. Rankings will be done based on the date it was earned. This means if nobody has earned an achievement yet, and two people earned it today they would both be #1. It also means if I miss a character (or they haven't been updated yet) they won't lose their achievement ranking.

The numbers wouldn't be completely accurate for inactive players, but I think for the purposes of the site (which is to look up the ranks of primarily the best players, who are typically very active) it would be sufficient. That would be an optional view, of course, like "Subtract Current Maximum Bonus Pool" or something. We can't get accurate numbers per player because the bonus pool listing in the division view per player is not accurate on the Battle.net site. The important part would be the running total, though, that's something I think would be handy.

There is a guy in near the top of the Korean rankings named Savior... Could it be the real one?

Actually at the moment the bonus pool just seems to be inversed. Looks like it's showing how much of the bonus pool has been used instead of how much is actually left for each player (in game it shows how much is left to use).
That said, you could go through each player individually this way and subtract their used bonus pool from their point total to get the number Excalibur is looking for. Still not sure how useful this is, but the data seems to be there should you need it.

Oh man, props to you. That really appears to be true, nice catch. It's so apparent, really surprised I missed it.

Hey is it possible to win/lose ratio for a player against each race? I know this can already be done with my profile using something like sc2gears, I only ask because I think that the most useful balance information would be comparing the win/lose ratios for top 100 terrans for example vs other terrans compared to vs zerg. I'm guessing it isn't possible though?
|
Achievement rankings are actually live now, for some reason they got pushed a 6-7 hours ago but they weren't supposed to. They are live now and everything seems to be working.
Example profile: http://sc2ranks.com/sea/124693/LOL/a/3211285 Example rankings: http://sc2ranks.com/ach/ranks/30906/
Manual profile refreshes will now pull achievement updates. I'm in the process of pulling achievement data on existing players, starting from highest to lowest achievement points. Basically everyone on the list http://sc2ranks.com/ach/all from highest to lowest.

Correct it can't

I'll think about it, it's not really a huge priority right now thought.

Hi, your site is great!
Unfortunately it seems there is an error concerning my character (Entropia.190, 1v1 Diamond, Europe). I can't find myself anymore, while I do find an Entropia with similar stats that is supposed to be in my division (and he isn't) but he has different 2v2 partners...
Just to underline a possible bug, I'm not really concerned by this eheh, if it could help, I can give you support to identify the bug.

Blizzard decided to start corrupting division data again, so your name probably got mixed up until it updated the division again. Put the code back in place to check for corruptions until it's fixed.
