You can see at the beginning it like normal 1.0. With the very hard AI, it much be 1.25 after 5 minute ( that mean 6 mineral and 5 gas ). After 10 minute it will be 1.5 ( 7 minerals and 6 gas ). But it won't be abuse the extra minerals to rush people at start.
But the core development is for the non-cheating AI to make it more realistic compare to human.Working on research some function like nuke, thor drop, nydus, warprism to adapt human style play.
I think cheating with 50% is quite a lot. Having 15 zealots instead of 10 is a huge difference. The AI is quite intelligent as well. But never mind its definately a challenge.

If it is the Greentea, you will have a small welcome text on the bottom left of the screen right after loading, saying Greentea v x.xx, difficulty, GL HF and all those good stuff
|
@Hider: Yes, but if you assuming it cheating at start, in reality,it only get the 7 minerals on the starting of 10 minutes. So it basic just add 1 or 2 zealot, later game must be tough though, especially when you let the AI live longer.

I can't select 1v1 mode and also the maps I've downloaded are the official blizzard maps but they don't have gold mineral patches, wtf....
|
@Celesti : just closed all the other AI slot to make it 1 v 1. The maps you down should be the new beta phase 2 maps. It it download section of SCAIO 10.0

Thanks.
It only requires Admin access when you first run the installer if you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7 with UAC enabled because it extracts to the Program Files directory.
I have never had to turn off my AV (MSE) or firewall (one in Windows 7) for it to function. I also never run it with admin rights and it never asks as I have UAC maxed out in Windows 7, so if it had to be elevated it would throw the UAC window.
I assume that some 3rd party software firewalls and/or other 3rd party AV programs could have issues with it based on whatever hooks the program uses to launch SC2.
Good to hear Green Tea AI is usable again. Blizzard AI is worthless.

Thank you for your answer. It seems it is pretty secure, considering the amount of ppl using the software.

Thanks for help with the maps guys.

Lol. The AI's talking is soooo distracting. Very fun AI map indeed.
|
ok I played a few games on hard.. so the most difficult one without cheating and compared it with blizzard ai. from the difficulty I can't make out any differences for me both are pretty even... I had already the opinion Green Tea is probably easier... is very hard cheating on the default ai? I am not sure...
after all I see how this Green Tea AI has whole different build orders.. I see banelings and other funny stuff. It is more authentic, like a real player. the idea with the talking is the best part of it!
and to the paranoid one, check out the .exe file, open it with your archive-utility and copy the suspicious files, which you have to put in your SC2 folter to another location and scan them :p

in hard, i feel the zerg ai is not as hard as other 2 races, especially Terran, it give me a lot of trouble.
|
Zerg race is still under experimental though. Sometimes it seem to build many buildings and not specialize make it lack of resources. will think of different build strategy for zerg.
|
does it cheat (ie mineral / gas multiplier?)
|
says there are no maps? do i need to DL those separately?
EDIT: THANKS!

^ Hard does not cheat, Very hard and Insane do have mineral multiplier that starts at normal and builds up slowly (it's written in big text at the top of the screen)
Yeah, since Z is the race that relies the most on game sense and situational awareness or whatever you want to call it, it's hardest to program an AI for it.
It's very good with burrow, but it sometimes researches it way too early. I just played againt a "very hard" Z and it did 14 pool 16 hatch. I FE myself and then just went to poke with 6 units, I think it already had burrow done but only 1 queen, 4 zerglings, and 0 spine crawlers, with 2 roaches and a maybe 4 more lings popping out a few seconds later and hydras coming just in time to die. =/
I know you're supposed to play more of a macro game against this AI, but I guess you need to let Z get 2 bases running before even trying to pressure?
When it gets integrated into YABOT, it should be really really good. Then hopefully you can practice against specific timing attacks in a real game instead of against an empty base.

thx for the cheating info, I cant seem to get it to work with the latest version of SCALLIN1
I have 9.9.0 and there is no option for custom AI

After I install it, I'm missing the sc2allin1/objects. How do I get it?
This is what I did:
1. Turn off AVGfree 2. Set installer to run as admin 3. Extract 4. Try to run the launcher 5. Get error that says it cannot find sc2allin1/objects
