The mpq is already moved and renamed, by the way. And how to i get to patch 17/18? Just found up to 16 in the links here. I was able to launch a game with the rep manager, but im still unable to view reps for some reason... When pressing the start replay button in the manager it simply shows some popups and then nothing happens... Edit: With patches up to 16 im now able to play a v.13 rep at least... Edit2: Ok all works now, up to reps at patch 16 at least. Too bad artios' pack is at 17...

Deleting Battlenet.mpq makes it work. finally... i can play against greentea now!

Patch mirror: mirror 1 2. Manually patch the game yourself by doing the following: (copied from battle.net forums, unaware of source) "For each file in each patch, do the following: 1) Move/copy the file to the Support folder in your install folder. 2) Rename it to sc2-patch.MPQ 3) Run Blizzard Updater.exe 4) Delete sc2-patch.MPQ" Do this for every file in every patch. Each patch must be done in order. If you get an "unable to patch" message then you've messed up the order somehow. Make sure you update patch 12 before updating to patch 12.1, lots of people were getting stuck on this. If you want to make it easier on yourself then do what nyx said: 3. After you've done all that try to run your custom maps, replays, whatever. If it doesn't work then you need to follow scientia's advice: These are the exact steps I took and now I can run custom games, galaxy editor, etc. On July 05 2010 08:04 ToxNub wrote: OMFG AWESOME I've spent about 2 days of my life reinstalling and manual patching, and once i finally figured out that I was missing the 12.1 patch, i patched up to 16, but I was still getting "Internal Battle.net Error" everytime i tried to launch from sc2allin.. What I was wondering about was if there is a point of manually patching in anticipation of phase 2 to make things quicker when it's released(I have a fresh install atm). I heard patches will be deleted and replaced by a big one when phase 2 start, is this right?

But now when i start the game i only see the spaceship flying, and there are no buttons or fields to enter my login information. Any tips on how to solve this? I use windows firewall, but have allowed it to go through on the popup, and also manually in the FW software... Apparently this has not been an issue for many people except some mac-dudes, and they solved it by rebooting (which ive tried, and i have a pc). Gonna try with a disabled firewall now, and if that dont work, update gfx drivers. All this happens when running sc2.exe, if i drop a rep on the .exe it stops on a black screen with only the sc mousepointer, nothing more... Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am having the exact same problem? Anyone else experiencing this/fix this yet?
ren %1 sc2-patch.mpq "Blizzard Updater" del sc2-patch.mpq
Save that Into notepad and save the file as patcher.bat, then drag the patches in order onto the batch file. Make sure the patches and the bat file are in the support folder when doing the process.
Thanks for the idea... here's what I did:
@echo off for %%f in (sc2-*) do ( echo %%f ren %%f sc2-patch.mpq "Blizzard Updater" del sc2-patch.mpq )
Extract all patches in support folder, and run the batch file. It will loop though all patches :D Edit: Sorry, don't know how to make the "
"'s work :/ | ||

Are there any manual patch files you guys are aware of? It's only the US servers that are down. The EU patch servers are up; follow the threads for creating/editing your realmlist.stf file (in this forum). It works from any patch level (or from unpatched)...still, beware the MOAP (it's a nine hundred megabyte patch file).

I'm wondering because when I updated to the latest patch I can't do anything with SCallin1 or the map editor anymore since it requires me to register and beta is offline so it doesn't work
