Decreased thor size also means ultra can do splash damage to them and other units around them easier btw just fyi.

No offense to the other zergs, but I'm a fan of the roach change. It was the ultimate mass up unit. It was like a marauder would be if it were 1 supply. It will hurt just a bit in the early game and hurt a lot in the late game. That is exactly how it should be. There should be no way to get 100+ roaches in the late game, just as there is no way to get 100+ marauders. Hopefully this will encourage more diverse play, although it definitely is a downgrade late game, and I hope the ultra change coming down the pipe are worthwhile, otherwise we'll be having some trouble.

this is gonna hurt for end game max supply battles considering you can now only have half as many roaches and the fights were damn close from before

This has probably been said, but poor IdrA. I don't know how you cope with such a huge change right before an important tournament game like this.

I recently switched from toss to zerg, and I didn't really feel like the roach was imba when I played toss. Now that I play zerg, I feel like a very large number of roaches is the best answer to terran mech/rines/rauders. Now I honestly have no clue... half as many roaches in the same situations seems very scary.

Well the good news with 2 supply roaches is you will have more gas available for higher tech units.

LOL thats funny you bring that up. Its like blizz rushed to nerf Idra before his game on Friday. Blizz easily could have let this patch wait until they were ready to reset ladder, but they hastily put it together to nerf Idra. lol.

I agree with this too an extent. I think that a speed upgrade should be added to the Hydralisks so that they can keep up with zerglings when you mass them together... same as ultra - speed up, make a bit smaller, and make it a well rounded user friendly flanking unit that can kill everything :D
Ultras are already expensive... but although I think zerglings or hydras by themselves shouldn't be given an extraordinary buff as far as attack / range / armor etc.... i think zerglings and hydras together should be buffed by having the chance to keep them together in one army instead of lings running way ahead.

Zerg tier 3 is just god awful. Broodlords in thought are amazing, but a viking or a couple of phoenixes will absolutely smash the broodlords with there reduced health. Timing pushes? What is there to timing push with? Roaches have been nerfed and hydras have been nerfed. Simply put I don't really know what to build anymore. Marauders melt roaches and hydras, zerglings counter that but get raped by tanks, same goes for banelings. Fungal growth is good but infestors cost a hell of a lot of gas.

Not to mention how does a zerg defend a timing push when they will have half of the amount of roaches?

with the thor now being smaller than a siege tank:

take the "massive" attribute from the thor and give it to the siege tank
(so it can't be stunned by marauders or lifted by phoenixes)

who's with me o/
rock is fine.. paper could need a buff, but scissors have to be nerfed
