The multi-replay analysis shows you statistics of all match-ups, and also summarized ones. For example if you play all 3 races vs all 3 races, it will give the following statistics just for 1v1 (and even more for team games):
PvP, PvT, PvZ, TvT, TvZ, TvP, ZvT, ZvP, ZvZ, Pv*, Tv*, Zv*, *vZ, *vT, *vT (* means summarized for all races)
Also note that TvZ and ZvT are distinguished because TvZ means when you're Terran, and ZvT means you're zerg.

On top of that, I just love graphs, percentages, and stats. Anyway, so that aside, I had a couple of suggestions that I think would be great:
For Match-up Records in Multi-Replay Analysis, I think it would be really great to see a "Last 5,"Last 10," and "Last 15" option (or maybe different numbers, or maybe even the option to make the number whatever you want it to be) so that you could actually see whether or not you are indeed improving in a specific matchup or not. For instance, thanks to your awesome program I know that my PvT is 72%, but my ZvP is a meager 22%. But I'm pretty sure in my last 4 ZvP games I've won half, but I can't quite remember. It would be great to be able to see the last few games as to whether or not you won (Format similar to the way TL does it for pro players' records... using the W W L W L L W L system). Anyway, just thought I'd throw that out there. THANK YOU so much for making this program, you are awesome.
Mordraer I think these lines would not be clear for those who don't now what it is. Currently the lines are self-explanatory, and many don't need this kind of info. Btw you can pre-filter the replays before performing a multi-rep analysis, and that way all the statistics shown in multi-rep analysis will apply to the match-up you chose, e.g. you will not only see the win rate of your chosen match-up for the last 10 or 20 games, but the development charts will show you the development for all your career.

I'm currently experiencing a bug where when I do a multi-rep analysis and then double click the player or right click and select show player the player stats do not come up. Windows 7x64.

How do I set up SC2Gears 4.4.1 so that it only saves AutoMM games in which I am playing?

If the problem is caused by a few number of replays, it would also be helpful if you would send those replays to me so I could reproduce the error.

This question has been answered numerous times, it is also on the FAQ page.

But you can specify the format (for example 1v1, 2v2 etc.) or the game type (AutoMM, Private, Public) or any other property of the replays as a sub-folder in your replay auto-save name template, and that way your replays will be sorted into sub-folders where you can easily find/analyze replays you're interested in or delete the ones you don't care about.

It seems that a few replays won't be able to read the winner of the game, leaving an "unknown" record. Is there any way I can manually edit the replay to fix the winner, like hex-editing or something?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance. No, there isn't because the winner info isn't even recorded in the replays. Winners are determined by an algorithm.

Is there any way for the search to exclude replays from a gateway by default? I play on both EU and US, but when i look replays I only want to list the EU ones by double clicking "auto saved replays".
Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance. Yes, there are 2 quick ways:
-Save a search filter where you set the gateway to Europe. Now right click on the replay source, then choose "Apply filter".
-Save the replays in different folders, save the EU ones in a folder like Europe, the US ones in a folder like America. If replays are separated, you can create 2 separate replay sources for the 2 folder, and you can double click on the one you want to to list (in this example Europe).
Note: you can include the gateway in the auto name template, that way Sc2gears will automatically separate them into folders based on the gateway.

Which APM is correct? The one shown in SC2Gears or the one in SC2 Replay (APM Tab at the end of the game) ??
'Cause it's not the same

'Cause it's not the same SC2gears shows apm in real time, and sc2 shows apm in game time so they're just measuring it slightly differently. It makes more sense to think of apm in real time. This happens because the sc2 assumes you are playing the game at 'normal speed' when people always play on 'faster speed'.
The calculation from game time apm to real time is about 1.38x.
|
The one shown in SC2Gears is correct, because the APM ingame (as seen in the replay) is calculated with the ingame time, which is faster than a normal minute because of the game settings.

Is there a way to change the unknown result manually?

'Cause it's not the same As stated abouve, Sc2gears calculates APM based on real time by default. SC2 calculates APM based on an unnatural game time (which is faster than the real time on faster game speed). For example BWChart (and everything else) calculated APM based on real time, so the value calculated by Sc2gears is "comparable" to other games and softwares results while SC2's APM is not really "authoritative".
You can tell Sc2gears though to use this "game time": on the Analyzer tab of the misc settings dialog.

I know some people have trouble with "unknown" results, but i'm having a problem with the analyzer showing the wrong winner on my replay. Any ideas?

As stated before, winner info is not recorded in replays. Winners are determined by an algorithm which main element is the order of player leave actions. So if you win and yet you leave first, you will most likely be flagged as loser.

will you please put the OP in spoilers? it took me forever just to scroll down past it OP. Thanks!

I couldn't find anything addressing this issue anywhere but it's possible I'm just incompetent, if so apologies.
I have a SEA account and play on both SEA and NA servers. On the Windows version of sc2gears I can identify the one source folder for replays ("SC2 auto replay folder (relative to user home):"), and sc2gears correctly autosaves games regardless of the server I'm playing the games on.
I recently switched to playing under OSX (now the mouse accel issues are done with). As best I can tell (again, maybe I'm just clueless but), OSX has two folder hierarchies - one for SEA (in my case, something like 6-S2-1-xxxxx/Replays/Multiplayer) and one for NA (in my case, from memory, something like 1-S2-1-xxxxx/Replays/Multiplayer). I can point sc2gears to one or the other, but can't have it autosave games from both (without manually redirecting via prefs to the appropriate folder).
Is this a known issue? Or is there something I'm doing wrong/I've missed?
