D'oh should have looked around more and searched. Much appreciated though mate!

Could you maybe overhaul the game info tab a bit? Like a real info page instead of comma separated plain text?
I got a weird window bug still going on. Every window pretends to be maximized after opening but in 3/4 of cases when I try to interact with it will cause it to become unmaximized and I have to maximize it myself again before I can work with it.
Another thing I'd like to see is an easy way to autorename replays if I forgot to start the program before playing. Like the rename dialog we already have but using the autosave dir and evaluatiing /F for each file individually instead of the whole batch.

Hey, this thread recently popped up suggesting that there may be some sort of issue creating nonrandom spawning positions on Metalopolis (and obv suggesting all maps). Verifying this to without any shadow of doubt using polls and self reporting is fraught with credibility issues.
Would it be possible to get some sort of (even if really ghetto) way of measuring spawn positions in Gears? It would pretty much solve this issue for the community.

Can you run this programm with all replays from all download sites you know? Would give interesting outcomes.
(Average APM of all players, average spawning positions, overall matchup winpercentages...)

Well, you can go to map view and it will show spawn positions. However, it will not show the positions of AI players. So, to expand on this request, can sc2gears be updated to show the spawn positions of AI opponents?

Regarding the internal windows and maximization: I never experienced this, please provide more details: OS, Look and Feel, screenshots.
Auto-saving replays when Sc2gears was not running: it's on my TODO list.

(Average APM of all players, average spawning positions, overall matchup winpercentages...) The statistical data is gained by analyzing replays. In order to do so, Sc2gears must have access to the content of the replay files. If a replay is stored on a web site, Sc2gears cannot access/read that file. It can only read files that are on your computer.
So in order to do what you want, you'd first have to download all replays.

Replays do not store any actions of computer (AI) players, so I can't display where they are spawned. The play (including actions) of AI players are generated using pseudo random algorithms unknown to me. When watching a replay, the same pseudo random results are re-generated to simulate the same behavior of the AI player.

Sc2gears 4.2 has been released: New charts: Unit Tiers, Player Selections
Details are in the first post.

Seems to be buggy for me, I restarted SC Gears, downloaded & installed 4.2 and now it still stays 4.1 on startup + I get a message again that 4.2 is out. If I try to update again, it says it failed (I guess it's because 4.2 is already installed? )

Edit: Download server operates now. It works for me. Can someone else confirm too that update works or still having issues?

Thanks Dakota for once again superb work!
You have recently added lots of new graphs that complement each others to sc2gears. But in the other hand the new graphs do not necessarily offer too valuable information if you look at only one at a time. Have you plans to make it possible for users to keep several graphs / map views open side by side in future versions of sc2gears?
For example I would imagine it would offer lots of interesting information, if you could keep open the APM view, the map view, the action list and e.g. the new player selections view at the same time. And then would use Animate (simulation) feature to run through the whole replay.

There were some problems few hours ago (the updater ran through but when I restarted sc2gears it was still the old version). But now the updater works and I was able to try out the new features for version 4.2.

I will think of something in the future for displaying/viewing multiple charts at once.

First off I really love your tool and how it is already 100x times more useful than any wc3/bw analyzer.
However I have a small complaint. Why on earth did you replace the tabs on the option window with this completely useless scrollbar? It's really a step back in terms of UI.
edit: apparently this only happens on Mac OS look and feel. Here's a screenshot of what I mean. http://imgur.com/obmjk

I'm having a problem with sc2gears on Mac OS-X. The auto replay save feature is not working for me. Has anyone experienced this before or do the developers have any idea what could be the cause?

This is how it looks like on Windows (click for larger image):

Well it is displayed correctly with any other look and feel so I suppose I will just use one of those.

Set the proper SC2 folder and where you want your replays saved.
Also check if Replay auto-save is enabled in the Settings menu.
If you can't get it to work, check the logs. Latest logs: Help menu/ View system messages. Previous logs: "User content/Logs" folder inside your Sc2gears folder.

as a zerg player, in Chart type: Builds / tech stat, I do not understand how I can have 277 drones in a game. In another game, I have 265 .... either I do not understand how to use that number, either there is a problem somewhere else, isn't it ?
