I know that it just copies the replays and changes the name but sc2 recent replays are named after the map, sc2gears could sort out any known ladder map and only rename/save those?
Would be a nice feature, got alot of nexus wars replays in between.

Use the game type symbol at the beginning of your naming template followed by the sub-folder separator like this: "/Y\" and finish it with your current template. The game type is "AutoMM" for ladder games, and something else for other games. So all your ladder games will be in the "AutoMM" sub-folder. If you don't need the other replays, you can delete them at any time.

Yes, it is possible. Add your 2 names to the player aliases. It is in the Miscellaneous settings dialog, Aliases tab. Enter your 2 names in one line, and statistics will be summarized for the 2 names.

![]() I got a few suggestions I thought I'd share with you: - displaying the win ratio / game length : I feel like I haven't lost a 'macro game' in a while, and a graph displaying this could (I think ^^) be easily added in the development charts tab? - also it would be super awesome if the program could recognize standard rush/all-in builds (4 gate, fast DTs, fast cloaked banshee, Thor/scv rush etc...) so that you could check specific win ratio against or with those strats? I know you can already filter out specific openings with the search filters, but it's quite a hassle. For instance, a 4-gate can be detected if the P builds (and doesn't cancel) 4 gate before the warp gate tech finishes (or 140 sec after warpgate tech starts ^^) I had a third one but forgot it while typing the first two x) I'll edit if I can remember it Thanks again, and keep up the great work!

My mouse control is poor. Hard to select small number of units, so i usually just a-move the whole army and then try to do something. When Day9 did his probes&pylons episode, in a few weeks i went from silver to high platinum by focusing on building scvs and units all the time. After a few weeks I was promoted to diamond. I really learned that all you have to do is build pylons, probes and units all the time to get better. I haven't been playing that much last couple of months, but I'm now high diamond and still struggle with battles and micro. I decided to compare my APM's to opponents and noticed a huge difference. Mine is usually micro 40/macro 80 while opponents have something like 90/40. I also checked a few pro replays: Jinro 143/36 (micro/macro) BoxeR 157/51 IdrA 162/40 HuK 222/54 Sjow 90/44 WhiteRa 115/44 I've got absolutely no idea why my so called macro APM is that big compared to other players. I'm really passive with my army, and probably replace the lack of actions by what Day9 calls tapping through my control groups. I usually lead my mirror matches in resources, but then lose to all sorts of drop harrassment and big siege battles. I have to focus on my army control a lot. I guess this really tells us that you don't need that much of "army control skills" to get to high diamond. (Also, Terran might be the only race that is so a-moveable). Awesome feature. Thanks.

![]() But I just stumbled upon a problem wich isn't solvable with sc2gears (yet, so I hope). It has something to do with the auto renamer and it's naming patterns. Let me try to explain what I like to accomplish here: The replays are saved in different locations whether there is a favourite listed player participating there or not. (All the fav listed player are friends of mine wich I play with). So it could look like this with a friend: 1v1/Friend/date/filename or without: 1v1/filename So basically there are cases you can define, it doesn't neccessary need to check for fav players, it also could check if it is a ZvP or a AutoMM. Wich enables you a branch like system ![]() Also sorting for players ingame number does raise some additional problems. eg three matches with the same players can be named different ("Player A vs Player B" or "Player B vs Player A") wouldn't it be nice to sort them alphabetically? So no matter what, Player A is in front and you can easily browse them. For teams its just an additional step, first the teams itself get sorted alphabetically and then the teams with the first players name. (assume Player C and B playing against A and X. after in team sort: B, C vs A, X. after final sort: A, X vs B, C) It's more intuitive to have AX first then BC even though BC is further in front alphabetically. This does conflict with the fav player sort, but it's just a matter of clear set prioritys. Of course fav player get a higher priority than the alphabetical sort. Expressed in functions: SortTeamPlayersAlpha(); SortTeamPlayersFav(); SortTeamsByAlpha(); SortTeamsByFav(); //Done what the functions do should be self-explanatory ![]() Little odd thing I saw today with naming patterns. Got <(/r)/p> in them and it mixed up the teams, was playing with a friend in the same team, but the pattern grouped me with the enemy. He is number one in fav list and I'm last. But even without it didn't it correct, after I cleared cache, moved replays away and back in the folder it worked. Probably was the cache. And also it did mix up me and my mate, it's usually "he, me" and one rep is other way around. but since there are only 6 reps of us, it might be playernumber connected. Hopfully you understood what I ment ![]()

I did not find any bugs here. The problem might have been an outdated replay cache (managed by Sc2gears)? Can you reproduce the bug? If so, please perform a "Clear replay cache" operation (Misc settings => Internal tab) and check again please. Also my guess is that when these replays were saved, your favored player lists did not contain your names (but rather you added the names after that the replays were saved).

Well, maybe i have just seen too much horrible Java code and too little good code :p On Topic: I had twice the case where i had to set the source directory of the replays again for my second account. I could not reproduce it, but i know i set it each time and i saved it (after the first time i even checked after restarting the program and it was still set). It might be related to updates, though i only noticed the problem a while after it appeared, so i can't pin it down exactly. That cost me a few nice replays, but it's not that big of a deal, but maybe you could take a look if the directory settings maybe don't get taken over between versions if several source directories are set.

Right click on that will show you the Player menu where you can select "Add to the favored player list". Alternatively you can add any name to the favored player list on the Analyzer tab of the Miscellaneous settings dialog.
