So atm it looks like:
NAME (RACE), actions: XXXX, APM: XXX, Micro APM: XXX, Macro APM: XXX
I think it might be a little better to just have:
NAME (RACE), actions: XXXX, APM: XXX, Micro: XXX, Macro: XXX
Otherwise this is a fantastic program keep up the good work! Thanks for the note, I will change that to a new format.

Am I doing something wrong? No, you're not doing anything wrong. Players have different in-game colors. If I would take those colors and mix them on the Camera areas, you would see it result in colors from which you could not tell who (which color) looked at that area for how long... The mixed colors would not be informative especially if you're analyzing a 3v3 or 4v4 game...
So instead I use 1 color to show the areas weighted by the total time of all players looked at there.
But if you want to see only the Camera areas of a specific player (player 1 for example), it is very simple: just disable the other player(s). The camera areas (and everything on all charts) are always calculated from the enabled players. So simply enable player 1 only to see his/her camera areas, enable player 2 only to see his/her camera areas etc.

since the last update the counter in auto-named replays isn't working anymore, every replay it saves is 002

any ideas?
my renaming template is /f\/Y\/F3 /P1(/r1) vs /P2(/r2) /m./e

If you use a sub-folder in your naming template, unfortunately the replay will not land in the auto-replay folder but instead in one of its sub-folders (and that's where the replay number should be determined).
This is a bug I plan to fix in the future.

The server you are redirected might have temporary error. Try again now, I'm sure it will work.

I'm having trouble getting the program to work on my mac When I try to run the command in the terminal, I get this error: + Show Spoiler +Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: Bad version number in .class file at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass1(Native Method) at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(ClassLoader.java:676) at java.security.SecureClassLoader.defineClass(SecureClassLoader.java:124) at java.net.URLClassLoader.defineClass(URLClassLoader.java:260) at java.net.URLClassLoader.access$100(URLClassLoader.java:56) at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(URLClassLoader.java:195) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(URLClassLoader.java:188) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:317) at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass(Launcher.java:280) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:252) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClassInternal(ClassLoader.java:375)
any possible solutions?

any possible solutions? The issue you are experiencing probably is related to a corrupt Java Software installation. Please download and install the latest version here.

any possible solutions? You probably have Java 5.0 or older. Sc2gears requires Java 6.0. Type "java -version" in a console/terminal to find out the version of your Java.

There seems to be some bug in the latest version. The APM value is much lower than it should be when you open a replay in the anylyzer. In the lists from replay searches the APM count looks to be working. Is this only for me?

2 things that might explain it: -The header now contains APM, Micro APM and Macro APM values. The last one is Macro APM which is obviously lower than the APM. -You might have "Use listed actions as chart input data" option enabled (below the action list) and your action list is filtered.
