When you close the side tabs like Replay Search #2, the next tab highlighted isn't always the one that is 1 higher or 1 lower of the one deleted. This is annoying when you're trying to close multiple tabs and it keeps jump up to some other section. I will look into that dropdown white color. But I haven't changed that, it's the theme default... Also if you want to close multiple tabs, here is the easiest way: simply middle click on the tab you want to close. You don't have to select it first, just middle click on it. | ||

I will think of something in the future, and I also plan to improve the winner detection algorithm (winner is not recorded in the replay). Do you think that you could make it so that when I pin to the taskbar in Windows 7 it doesn't make a new icon? That would be awesome. | ||

The reason why a new icon appears is because the application is written in Java, and Sc2gears.exe only starts the "Sc2gears Java application" which will run in the process of javaw.exe. In a previous version I made it to instantiate the Java VM in the same process but that has other issues, so I sticked to this one. | ||

You can provide a naming template in which you can use many of the game attributes (like game type, format, match-up, map name, player list, player APMs, result like win or loss, date, custom player block etc.) in any combination you'd like, including any separator or extra charaters/texts. | ||

one quick question, is there a way for me to just rename a large batch of replays? during that time where it was patch 1.2 with sc2gears3.6, it was just saving my replays as like date time, just all numbers. Now that it works with 1.2 replays, i'd like to re-name all of those replays taht are just numbers. Thanks again ! :D | ||

Thanks again ! :D Open a new replay search from the left column (double-click on <new> under Replay Search) and point it to the folder that contains these replays (by clicking 'add folders'). Then click 'load replays from this source'. After that, highlight them all and right-click -> rename replays. Unfortunately this renaming method doesn't automatically use your auto-save replay format, so if (like me) you have a very complicated auto-naming format, you can then go to your miscellaneous options settings and copy/paste your format from there. Amazing software Dakota! Having renaming from a source automatically use your auto-save format is my only suggestion to improve it! Keep up the great work! | ||

So atm it looks like: NAME (RACE), actions: XXXX, APM: XXX, Micro APM: XXX, Macro APM: XXX I think it might be a little better to just have: NAME (RACE), actions: XXXX, APM: XXX, Micro: XXX, Macro: XXX Otherwise this is a fantastic program keep up the good work! | ||

i think i find a little bug: i have 3 replays that play on the same map with my friend (1v1), the name of the replays lets say XC(1), XC(2), XC(3). i opened the XC(3) replay by right click the 'Watch replay' in the sc2gear. the strange thing happened here - if i stay in sc2 without logout and i wanna watch XC(2), sc2 will take me into XC(3)! same will go to XC(3) if i click XC(1). | ||
