Can you please investigate a cause for FPS problems?
I don't know much about computers, but when I have nothing running but SC2 its fine, when I have nothing running but SC2 and gears, I have overall FPS problems . Not just maps like Metropolis.
I've seen / felt no triggers and FPS does go up when I turn off sc2gears. I have no add ons or anything going on I use sc2gears for organising and multi-rep analysis. Yeah... this isn't going well lol.
Iunno, there seems to be no other complaints so I'll investigate further, sorry. ♥

Tips to try out (just for the test period), you might also wanna combine these: -Turn off APM Alert -Turn off replay auto-save -Change the graphical mode in SC2: Windowed, Windowed (Fullscreen), Fullscreen -Turn off On-top APM display -Turn off automatic Mouse print recording (this only goes while you're in a game) -If you have new replay detection method set to Polling, change it to Event based (Replay auto-save tab of the Misc settings dialog) -Install the newest java (7.0)
Hey i am having some problems. SC2Gears cant save my replays, i just get an error message (unable to save replay) I am not sure what the problem is. The diagnostic tool says that everything is ok except "mouse print auto-save" which i have disabled, but i cant see how this can be the problem.
How ever i might have found the problem. In the settings the "sc2 maps folder" goes to "C:/ProgramData/Blizzard Entertainment/Battle.net/Cache" But this folder doesn't exist on my computer and i don't know where the maps are saved.

most of my other settings are on default
"SC2 maps folder" setting does not have anything to do with the replay auto-save.
Check your logs: "User Content/Logs" inside your Sc2gears folder.
Ahh okay thanks I found out that there was a problem with the naming of my replays. my naming was as follows: /Y /f /m [/W1, /R1] /p1 VS /p2 [/W2, /R2] - Time: /l Date: /d
But i forgot that you cant have ":" in a file name, may i suggest that the auto-save name template dosn´t allow: / \ : * ? " < >
Hey i am having another weird problem. Sc2Gears is totally un-responsive on my second monitor, the only thing i can do is move it back to my main monitor (where it works fine) and click links. I cant click any thing and it doesn't update (auto open new replays). I have never had any problems with my second monitor.
A great feature which I'd find so useful is point tracking. I know this would be pretty difficult to implement as the info wouldn't be stored in the replay, but perhaps if you could set your resolution in SC2 Gears and then use optical character recognition to record it.
IMO it would be one of the most useful things to record which we can't currently.

I just looked at an analysis of one of my replays where it showed me making 31 roaches at 6:58. I watched the replay and it was actually 7 roaches.
I see from the FAQ that this is a known issue and a limitation of the replay format. However it's got me suspicious of the resources spent and spending rate graphs. There was a huge spike up in my resources spent right around when I was supposedly making 31 roaches, so I'm pretty sure it's affecting those graphs as well.
Is there any way to limit the resources spent graph to what was actually spent, or does the same limitation for building/unit tiers apply there as well? I like to use resource spending rate as a metric for my macro efficiency, but now I'm concerned about whether I can trust the numbers.
Great tool otherwise - it's become a must-have for me.
