Also, have you checked to make sure what small units can pass through?

-reaper? ling? hydra? roach? marauder? zealot? sentry?

thanks guys, I'll definitely find another place for the gold expos and take out a geyser from the thirds. Seeing as the map is really huge right now, I can easily fit another couple expansions somewhere. However, I don't think I'll move the gold expos over to where the towers are, since the towers are already there. Hell, I'll probably even remove the gold expos and add in two regular expos in replacement of each. If you've anything else you'd like to suggest, feel free to say it.

Thors and siege tanks can't fit through, but Ultralisks can (lol wtf). Colossi can also pass through by climbing over the cliffs. I think it's safe to say all other ground units can fit.

If you're going to have gold minerals, they should be in the center, not the corner base imo.

The map looks great, but I have a quick aesthetic question: is there no terrain tiles for like, a temple or man-made structure? It seems to be all natural rock formations in the sc2 maps I've seen so far.

I would suggest removing the stalagmite border. It makes the map feel like some artificial area rather than a real battlefield (I know maps are mirrored, but still)). Try to add some try to add some aesthetic asymmetry at the edges.

Hmm, I've tried making the blue high ground man-made terrain, but the editor won't let me make proper ramps. Plus, man-made and organic terrain won't fuse with each other on higher ground; there will always be a gap between the two.

Yeah, playing through the Editor is the easiest way.
Technically, you're not supposed to play custom maps online yet, but there is a workaround. I'd search it for you, but I'm really tired.

dam. this is sexy shit. lol

maybe for the 1 unit chokes at the natural you can add some new sc2 stuff like line-of-sight blockers? but if you're just going for accuracy and not sc2-esque then it's great as it is.

I'm confused, where do you put this? In Documents > SC2 Beta > Maps all I have is a Cache folder with tons of different folders. ~_~

The accuracy is amazing, really well done job.

my perhaps only critique is the aesthetics. everything seems too...blue. lol i know its called blue storm but i almost wish that the tiling u see on the original blue storm somehow translated over on those regions. maybe it's just unworkable atm but as far as the map translation very nicely done
