I don't like how alex does his business, but he is very good at it. This episode, unlike all the past ones, was almost impossible for wheat to control. I know he was trying to hear alex out in case he ever got to the point, and alex is really good at dancing around the point so he's almost there but never actually addressing it. This. So much. It wasn't so much Wheat's "fault" but the balance of the guests were way off, Milkis just couldn't keep up with Alex imo. Also, I find it amusing that people scream and bitch for an explanation from EG every time shit goes down, and when Wheat brings people on to do so he gets shit for it. People sure loves to ride the hate-train. Thanks for the shows djWHEAT. Controversies or not, I always tune in and enjoy it.

Wheat put together a show on a hot topic in a few short hours... and did his best to let the speakers say their bits. It was clear several times in the show that he didn't want Milkis getting completely streamrolled because when it really started happening, Wheat would jump in with a loud comment and steer the conversation. Milkis isn't a debater, he made that clear, but Wheat didn't want to put his hands all over a conversation that he didn't even know the facts on. That's why he had 2 guests..... I think Wheat handled it well enough, it was Alex who shoulda stopped when he was ahead.

No, it was more of a comment on the old 'empty threat tactic' where you say you will never ever have another person on the show again. Hey, maybe you really won't have another guest on the show again, but it just seems like a lot of vague threats in response to criticism.

He felt that discussion wasn't one to be had on WoC. However, I believe Wheat did choose to stop the conversation at a very inappropriate time, and I think Wheat might agree. Agreed, I saw Wheat squashing that segment as a way of protecting Milkis. Yeah, Milkis was talking and it should have been stopped earlier when Alex was talking but Alex always has a way of forcing his point out regardless.

Perhaps not directly, but it's obvious that EG has a considerable presence in your affairs (Live on 3, Inside the Game, EG Master's Cup). A passing glance is all that's needed to know that if you were to make EG look bad, it could be detrimental to your future income. You yell and swear all the time, don't pretend you couldn't have stopped Alex's baseless shit-flinging if you really wanted to (not to mention interrupting Milkis each time he attempted to get a counterpoint across).

He's an extremely good rhetorician: he knows how to speak, and he knows how to make a fallacious argument seem legitimate. EG wouldn't keep sending him on your shows if did not. But part of your job as host and journalist is to outwit him and call him out when he's talking crap. I don't think you're incapable of that, and as such I don't think you should stop having guests on your shows that I have enjoyed in the past and will continue to enjoy in the future... I felt like I called both of them on specific topics, but it appears that everyone is wrapped up in the final comments which is why I was trying to avoid that topic completely. Alex basically fired the gun with that topic and it hit people. Yes it was my responsibility to not let him fire the gun, but I feel like I'm being bashed unfairly because of it. I spoke to Milkis about it personally (when the show ended) and apologized to him and told him how horrible I felt. I honestly didn't mean any ill will when I did it and I simply didn't want that topic to be associated with Milkis' article. It wasn't fair.

Alex comes from the train of thought: If i talk fast, if i talk loud, if i talk over you, then i win. Seems to be EGs mantra lately.

EG didn't intentionally not contact TSL either, and look how it turns out. Intentionally or not, that's what happened, Wheat, just like EG, is just too stubborn to admit that he let AG rant and cut Milkis short all the time.

I see how it could be biased mediating, but it felt more to me like a type A personality in AG just taking over most of the discussion. He has much more invested and has trained himself how to manipulate situations in his favor. Imo, that is the #1 reason for the delay. It's like when an employee that did something wrong but didn't think it was a big deal at the time is brought into his employer's office and broadsided with a huge attack. He basically has no time to get his thoughts together and might say stupid/contradictory stuff which puts him at the mercy of his employer. AG was simply playing that way to maximize his own preparedness and dish out a surprise attack or two (like the Milkis attack at the end), like any smart cutt-throat executive would.

Milkis should have used "Phone A Friend" to bring Hot_Bid on, he is-ish a lawyer and a professional troll.

The way he tried to phrase his final comments as "unoffensive to Milkis" was what set me over the edge. He was blatantly attacking Milkis in his own "professional" manner. I think he took the conversation way too far in the end... Edit: I think he dug himself a bigger hole with that single attack honestly. I wonder how long this guy has been out of College for. I heard him flaunt his degree on ITG. And it did sound like flaunting when I heard it...
