Apparently he doesn't want Blizzard to make any money from their development of SC2... The truth is I think a ton of us wouldn't accept such a model. The sad thing is that the rate of return on investment for SC2 would be great a few years ago. The smart-consuming, diehard RTS fan loses to the easily appeased CoD fan and incurably addicted WoW fan.

When he says pay to play he talks about a monthly subscription I think.

Ironically, I was playing Quake Live while listening to the cast while that caller was going on about how Quake has become pay to play. It is actually free, with an option to "go pro" or something. Haven't bother looking it up since I just play casually. 41% accuracy with rail gun though yeaaahh!

And couldn't you argue against the fact that there are abilities that dumb down the micro, however won't/couldn't it create more dynamic solutions to these issues?

Episode 24 VOD The iTunes should be in operation very soon, but for those who cannot wait for the MP3, there is a quick way to grab it. Goto the link above, and below the video there is an area which reads, "Play Episode As:" You can drop down and select MP3. After that there is a download link under the comments section in which you can grab the MP3 directly from BLIP. Eventually this will be what powers the RSS feeds for your feeders and iTunes!

The Korean style casting is just altogether different. if something exciting is happening, or something important is going on that's not being said, they'll just talk over whoever else is talking, they don't give a shit lol. To be honest it adds quite a bit of excitement hearing all 3 of them go nuts at the same time in that Nestea clip. The foreigner style of taking turns and not stepping on toes when someone else is talking, of course you're gonna have more trouble working 3 casters in. In the TSL3 today for example, when Naniwa pulled all his probes on a certain map, Hotbid panned over to it and day9 didn't mention it till about 7-10 sec later, meanwhile Chill is just sitting there wanting to talk about it but wouldn't interrupt day9 to do so. So yea, overall just different casting styles which might make 3 casters too hard to work in.
