Even I am a Terran player, I found that the marauder change is a good change. Now I can start to use mech for once in SC2B... Roach change seems nice too, dont know about the Voidray change though. I gonna go Marauder+Tank everygame from now on :D and ofc some lategame Thor seems awesome. Next change we need is decrease the Thor size ^^

A was in platinum 10 minutes ago and now have to play 5 placement matches. Friendlist got reset too. At least they didn't reset nickname.

Just checked the game files just in case. Planetary Fortress, Hunter Seeker Missile and Archons remain unchanged from before, so no bug fixes there.

just played 3 ladder games since patch, lost them all. gold rank1-5 player here. all games were against protoss..

K, after playing some of the new patch, tanks are still trash, you might want to have like 2-3 in your army for splash/variety, but they should still be cheaper and cost less food and at most be 1/5 of your army. The rest should be just thor/helion. Mech is alive and well, just not with tanks.

now that I think of it I actually like it because it means ladder games wont be 60% zvz anymore since all the opportunists gonna switch away from zerg.

Another stupid comment from another idiotic poster. Thor rush is not a cheese against any race if you scout it, period. You can fast tech with any race and if the opponent lets you fast tech, they will lose. You think this is new to Starcraft? FFS, fast teching has been part of Starcraft for the last 12 years and the price for fast teching is losing to an early rush. Tell us something new Mr. BentoBox, because you're full of drivel.
Since when did I mention concussive shells as relevant to Thor rush? Obviously, somebody going for a Thor rush will skimp on marines, marauders, and concussive shells, LMAO.

Who said this was a breakthrough strategy-wise? Are you now using semantics as a scapegoat to cover your lack of reading comprehension? Trying to take your opponents by surprise is bound to fail if it gets scouted? REALLY?

Hydra nerf just screwed me over in 3 ladder games. Before the patch Muta/Hydra would rape but now i just lose. 10 HP doesn't even feel that signifigant.....

The asia server is still up on patch 7 though, just lost a game on it :D.

Oh my god please this. At least SCBW hydras are microable. I get raped by storm the way it is with the autocasting. My hydra are so slow i cannot storm dodge! I think that their slow movement is their balance problem. Not to mention they took my 2 favorite units out of the game which are the Mutalisk and Lurker. You cant argue that the mutalisk is in any way the same unit. You just can't micro it efficiently just the same as the new hydra.
Really i am feeling that the only unit that micros out of my zerg army is zergling / roach with speed upgrade or burrow / and infestors. Zerg were a very micro intensive race and now its just not and its quite frankly is not fun anymore. I really want it to be but wow have they taken the micro intensity out of zerg with SC2!
I would be fine with this patch if the hydra had a speed upgrade to make them a viable harassing unit and i wouldn't be afraid to take on a protoss army with them because i know if i micro right i stand a chance against storm and collosus. But for as expensive as hydra are now and weak and unmicroable it is just frustrating.
