You could texture ghosts to be bright yellow and your HT could easily pick them out for some feedback action, etc.

Should we illegal, but it looks good tho! Good job on it - protoss looks like they turned to the dark side, and zerg like zerg's evil twin brother, or something.

One question; are the "new" dark textures merely the default textures but darkened, while the "old" V3 textures are more general improvements in graphic quality? In what way are the new ones better than the old ones?

In what way are the new ones better than the old ones? Well in the latest one which im sure is the one you have, Most textures are unchanged from the original blizzard textures. For protoss, the only changes are the stalker, probe, and voidray i believe. While for zerg its a lot more like creep(super sweet), roaches, zerglings, queen, nydus worm, spawning poo, spine crawler/spore crawler, extractor and more(most changes are better team color while some like for the infester are just better textures(imo)). For terran, everything is unchanged from original blizzard textures.

Edit: A lot of talk about whether this is actually allowed... I won't do it if it gets me banned :S Can anyone shed some light on this?

I won't do it if it gets me banned :S Can anyone shed some light on this? Well use it at ur own risk i guess. I see no harm in doing this, and Ive been changing and replacing textures since beta. I'm not cheating but i admit that imo my textures give more clarity for zerg at least. I'd say try it and see how much u like it, then decide whether the risk is worth it to u. Not a big risk imo, but then again, you never know!

And by that i dont mean that its impossible to do in general, but it just doesnt seem possible simply by changing textures. I changed the dt's texture into something else, and it was indeed that texture that was used, but with cloak still in effect. So basically you would only see the texture once detected and even then it would be 50 percent see through like it is right now.

I wouldn't consider it cheating but i believe blizzard COULD give you trouble for it if they felt like it. I also use customized hotkeys though and i'm sure that could get me in just as much trouble. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Ill put that in the OP
