Ill put together a short guide from all this soon but just want to point out some things I have noticed
Building Nukes dont award xp (only works for units, buildings and upgrades).
If you and another unit are attacking I believe it follows last hit mechanics (correct me if this is wrong someone)
Also is anyone here still getting the negative experience or the upgrade/starter edition bug? If so please post in this thread and I will see if I can help you.

I am 10 from 2 days of playing. Right now its roughly 50k xp per 20min so about and hour a level. We have 45 days left. Its daunting but doable. In other words there is time if the heart is there

My record is 75k for 19 mins game, but that included first win of the day.
So 65k from 19 min long game without bonus.

Easy way as zerg to free up supply: Build banes and explode them manually.
To quickly get rid of terran supply, I stim rines until they have only 5 HP and send them to the enemy.

Here is another (even better) option for protoss. Set all the AI's to recource cheaters. Set economic builds for allies and 50% handicap for enemies. This way you have to do less clicks (setting parameters may be a bit annoying coz it lags a bit). You just add 7 AI's and set 7 parameters. Do a standard opening. Build twilight council right after cyber core and research warpgate. Research blink asap. Request for recources at 5min and build gates up to 20. You can also get your dark shrine for recource spending after 2-3 cycles of stalker warp ins. Control your stalkers and destroy/kill everything you see in the fastest way possible. It requires 12-13 minutes to gain 50k exp.

So that's 15 million XP for all three levels. 50k XP per 20 minutes, so 150k per hour. 15M / 150k = 100. 100 hours of playing. So about two weeks of playing 8 hours every day. The beta is probably going to close in ~30 days, so 3,33 hours of playing every day until the beta closes.
I may try getting one portrait but getting all three is way too time consuming.

Mouseover the tiker.
Scrol wheel up while holding Ctrl.
Resource tiker will increase by 100.

Who needs all 3? :S If there was a 4th portarit for lvl 90 it'd be ok, but getting 2 portraits (that are not so cool compared to wol portraits or to portraits that might be in hots) for races you don't play doesn't worth it.

I'm getting 50K xp per 15 minutes as Protoss, i'm doing a very AFK build, i alt tab 4 times to macro.

Ok I got another build that is 1 min faster than previous one  Instead of blink you get charge and build templar archives instead of dark shrine. Spam zealots from 20 warpgates till you get 3000 gas. Spend the whole cycle warping high templars then keep spending recources warping whatever you want. You need just 11-12 minutes to earn 50k exp.

Another build: You need two players on enemy teams. Each with 3x Cheater AI as ally, Set handicap to 50%. 15-20 Warp Gates, spam only Zealots against each other or into cannons. AI are giving away resources faster if you request only minerals.

We require more level and portraits!

Blizzard needs to make an Xp boost item. I would buy that.

25% Xp boost is only when playing with Real ID friend.
Also XP reduction cames exactly after 50k earned, so leave the game as soon as u dont receive full xp. When u play with a friend u get 62 500 exp in 17 minutes (could be faster with perfect strat).
