We also should never tell the posters who find it outrageous, that they sometimes give out stuff if you attend Blizzcon. Their heads might explode, because only such a small percentage could get it.

It has literally almost no value. Even from an entertainment perspective, it's still a lame little picture. I hope you have more serious things to worry about in life

Find a friend. Find the biggest map. Repeatedly slam armies into each other till the map is mined out. There is a play with a friend bonus of like 25% points i think. Repeat until you reach goal.

I sort of agree somewhat but unlike with D3, you can at least get into the beta by prepurchasing (so anyone can do it). Fortunately though (or unfortunately), the portraits unlocked don't look all that great IMO. In fact all the leveling up portraits are kind of not so great (the reason is because they look nothing like normal portraits). Actually you can (anyone can) purchase a Blizzcon virtual ticket to get all the stuff. They have unlimited supply of virtual tickets (since it's just a pass to watch the VODs and stuff for a few days). The D3 thing was unfair simply because you couldn't do anything to get into it and it was random. The SC2 HotS thing isn't unfair since anyone can get beta access. Anyway, I'm not really an achievement collector myself but I know plenty of people who really like to collect that type of stuff. Play an 8 player map. Set 4 v 4 (3 computers on your side, 4 on the opponent). Play the game on a big map like Vigilance or something like Megaton (though it depends on which difficulty you pick, I recommend at least Hard because below hard, the computer builds really slowly). (On the higher difficulties, computers build really fast.) Anyway, build stuff. At 5 minute mark, request resources from computers (they'll give it to you once they receive it). (Don't overdo this though, because if you do it too much, the computer won't have anything to build for themselves.) With extra resources, you can mass units at 5 minute mark. Also since it's a 4v4, more units on the field = more exp you gain by destroying units. Finally, take note that after a certain point (I'm not sure if it's based on time or based on exp gain), all exp gain will be reduced by 77%. (Exp gain is based on total resources the unit cost. A Thor is 300/200, which grants 500 exp. Supply depot is 100, which grants 100 exp. The same case for destroying units.)

Because it doesn't explain why Blizzard should now be giving in game rewards through a beta, when they haven't done so in all their betas from 1955-2011, they haven't done so in the latest MoP beta since it's not fair to those who aren't in the beta for whatever reason. What about future players? Diablo 3 did it. And the world is still standing. If you wanted to prevent beta->game crossover you needed to do it when it first happened. HoTS is just continuing this new trend. If anything this new system is more than fair. Everyone who preorders with us.battle.net has a chance to complete this reward. Ordering directly thru us.battle.net costs blizzard less money because they don't have to involve distributors etc. It is also the only form of preordering where the funds used for the pre-order actually reach blizzard before the game is released. So essentially any preorders made on the us.battle.net website provide funding to help get the game shipped. By offering a reward for this they are encouraging you to help them release the game. And EVERYONE who preorders with us.battle.net gets one. Look more closely at that post. He literally JUST preordered. ofc there will be a delay. Edit: Double post

I was getting 233 xp per battlecruiser, is that the 77% thing?

Second, here is a demotivator, how it can end if Blizzard will not limit level progression to ladder games P.S. Who don't understand, I'll explain. You're gaining exp for everything. Make nexus - you got 400 exp, farm stupid AI sending units to you - get exp, kill fatty units like archons/ultras/thors/etc - get more exp!

It's not harder. Create 200 supply army as zerg, send it to Nydus, kill Nydus, remax. You got tons of exp in seconds just for making units
